ClipDraw is an interesting product that solves some problems for legal concealed carry, however, other problems are created. I reviewed this product once in the past, and my only complaint - that the gun shifts too much - still stands. However, I decided that this product is interesting enough to take another look at. After more experience carrying different guns with different holsters, and after receiving some professional defensive handgun training at Front Sight, I have new complaints, and a few new praises for ClipDraw. Big Complaint: The only way to safely carry with ClipDraw is in Condition 3 (no round in the chamber). With training, this makes your draw only slightly slower - but you really need both hands available and functional to do it. "Re-holstering" is much more complicated, since you need to clear the chamber again before returning your gun to your waist-band. Big Praise: ClipDraw makes your carry profile as slim as possible because a holster is not needed to carry securely. Also, putting on and taking off your gun is faster and easier than with a more supportive holster; this is helpful If your job, college campus, or volunteer organization (BSA, for instance) has a no-gun policy.
