The Bard's Tale is an action role-playing game developed and published by inXile Entertainment in 2004 and was distributed by Vivendi Universal Games in North America and Ubisoft in Europe
The plot involves "a sardonic and opportunistic musician and adventurer, driven by carnal rather than noble pursuits. The Bard, who is never identified by a specific name nor addressed by anything other than 'The Bard,' is not interested in saving the world; his humble motivations are strictly 'coin and cleavage.'" His quest is narrated by a mocking, biased man (played by Tony Jay) who cannot stand him. The Bard is voiced by Cary Elwes - You know from The Princess Bride and err.. The first of two experimental broadcasts from a Vickers Varsity in flight over Norfolk. Cameras from the cockpit and the bomb aimer's compartment, supplemented by cameras on the ground, capture the plane taking off and landing, as well as other aircraft, such as a Lincoln, Canberra and Meteor NF12, flying alongside.
The Vickers Varsity weighed 15 tonnes and carried half a ton of equipment on this flight. Power for the camera and sound equipment actually came from the aircraft itself. The Vickers Varsity was designed and produced to train pilots, flight engineers, radio operators, navigators and bomb aimers. The latter were seated in a very large ventral gondola, which contained bomb aiming equipment and a small quantity of training bombs. This is where one of the cameras was positioned.

Famously pugilistic director John Huston talks about fighting with Errol Flynn, his preference for 'stories to do with men' and what the medium of film means to him. He also touches on his relationships with his father (the actor Walter Huston) and his own children, and recalls his time as a down-and-out living on the streets of London.
This is an audio version of the television programme 'Face to Face'.
DID YOU KNOW?
In 1925, John Huston spent a long vacation in Mexico, where his adventures included riding as an honorary member of the Mexican cavalry. Before becoming a director, one of the films he worked on as a writer was 'Murders in the Rue Morgue' (1932), starring Bela Lugosi.

"“Oh damn! Damn! Damn! Damnit, damnit, blast it!” he screams at Brian while sitting in a hole in the ground. Brian is, at this point, on the run from the hordes who believe he is the Messiah and urges the hermit to be quiet.
“Eighteen years of total silence and you! shh! me!"
The frustrated naked hermit quickly changes his tune, screaming “I’m alive! I’m alive,” before quickly realising that it probably wasn’t the best idea. The naked Hermit ends up being persecuted for saying he’s ‘not the messiah’ once again.
Naturally no list would be complete without an honourable mention for the film Life Of Brian, which, in its entirety deserves to be on this list.
There are simply too many brilliant moments in the British comedy film from 1979, which Jones oversaw as its director.
But for Terry’s highlight, it has got to be his starring role as The Naked Hermit.

The Man With The Rubber Head, or L’Homme à la tête de Caoutchouc, is a French silent film from 1902 directed by Georges Méliès. It features a scientist (played by Méliès himself) who places a living copy of his own head on a table, attaches a pair of bellows to it, and begins to blow air into the head, making it swell like a balloon. The film is a classic example of Méliès mastery of early special effects. To create the illusion of a head which grows in size, he filmed himself moving toward a stationary camera and then superimposed this upon a static shot of the laboratory where the head ballooning experiment takes place.

Roundhay Garden Scene is an 1888 short film directed by inventor Louis Le Prince, considered to be the world’s first film ever made using a motion picture camera. According to Le Prince’s son, Adolphe, it was filmed at Oakwood Grange, the home of Joseph and Sarah Whitley, in Roundhay, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, United Kingdom on October 14, 1888. It features Adolphe Le Prince, Sarah Whitley, Joseph Whitley and Harriet Hartley in the garden, walking around and laughing. It was recorded at 12 frames per second and runs for only 2.11 seconds. Le Prince later used his camera to shoot trams and the horse-drawn and pedestrian traffic on Leeds Bridge. These pictures were soon projected on a screen in Leeds, making it the first motion picture exhibition. After returning to France, in September 1890, Le Prince was preparing to go back to the UK to patent his new camera, followed by a trip to the US to promote it. Before his journey, he decided to return home and visit friends and family. Having done so, he left Bourges on 13 September to visit his brother in Dijon. He would then take the 16 September train to Paris, but when the train arrived, his friends discovered that Le Prince was not on board. He was never seen again by his family or friends. No luggage nor corpse was found in the Dijon-Paris express nor along the railway. No one saw Le Prince at the Dijon station, except his brother. No one saw Le Prince in the Dijon–Paris express after he was seen boarding it. No one noticed strange behaviour or aggression in the Dijon-Paris express. The French police, Scotland Yard and the family undertook exhaustive searches but never found his body or luggage. This mysterious disappearance case was never solved.
