Ordered this unique car directly from the manufacturer, Yahboom. Great company. Good sales staff. I ended up buying to kits. This is one of them. Hope you like it.
Hello everyone. I will no longer be working out of my school shop. I have moved on to Online Learning (remote learning) for this year (2020-2021). The makerspace have changed significantly and I have passed the torch on to the next person who will use it as a classroom during the Pandemic school year (can I actually call it that).
This was really challenging for me to do. It took a number of friends to help in the cleaning and purging of things not necessary. I have to thank everyone who helped out.

The bug (similar to the hex toys) was made from one toothbrush that contained a motor that made the brush vibrate. Chopped it up and used a CR2032 battery to power it. There were a couple of challenges... the wires were damaged when I took it out so I had to solder new wires.

I got a couple of mBots and recorded the building of one. It takes about 10 minutes to build one (slowly).
The theory of MakeBlock is One Robot Per Child. By providing an easy to build and affordable robot, the mBot allows all kids to get into robots and learn programming.
Here is more information on the mBot -
* Based on scratch 2.0 developed by MIT Media Lab, nice interface and easy for everyone.
* Free & source code: the software is free and support Window & Mac systems. We will also open the source code later.
* Supports wireless communication: you can use Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless serial to communicate with mBot. And download the program wirelessly is supported.

This is the 7th version of the remote controlled car using the Wireless Boost-it pack from little bits. The first car did not have steering capabilities so many changes were needed. They installed 2 motors and dimmers to control each one seperately.
