I bought this one used a few months ago for 30 bucks. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but I had confidence that it would sound good. What I did not expect is for the pedal to actually sound great. Take this from someone who is generally not a fan of chorus pedals. I owned a Boss CE-2, which is revered by many, but not by me. I didn't care for it at all. I assumed that this pedal would be a flogger, something I would sell once I made a video of it. Alas, this is not the case. Turns out that it is an excellent pedal. My favorite part of it being the Vibe mode. It's a great sound and is not too obnoxious, even in higher settings. I'll show you my top 8 settings and which pedals I matched them with. The Thermion Outlaw! What can I say? It's as awesome as you would expect any pedal from Thermion to be. Except this one is just a touch cooler because it was designed around a 5150. Now, I'm not making that up, José from Thermion told me himself. I thought that was rather cool consider how I own a Peavey 5150 combo. The Outlaw is both a delay and a boost pedal. Primarily, it is designed to work best in the FX Loop of your amp (doesn't have to be a 5150), but it also works equally great in the from on any amplifier. There are three different modes to the Outlaw: a dark, neutral and bright settings for the delay repeats. There is also a switch to select either "trails", which lets the notes decay even when the pedal is switched off, and the standard option the kills the repeats once the pedal is switched off.
