[RTHK] Hong Kong Connection: I'm Stuck at Home Every Day 鏗鏘集:我天天在家(英語)
With Covid-19 persisting for months, all schools in Hong Kong have been in lockdown since February. In addition to going to school, special needs children take different types of therapies and training as they spend time with teachers and friends to learn to express themselves, interact with others and manage their emotions.
But with classes suspended because of the coronavirus, how do special needs students spend their days?

“Who Stole My Summer Vacation I?” series is the summary and update of the journey of the young protesters whom participated in the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill movement in 2019.
This episode we interviewed three youngsters aged from 16 years old to 19 years old. They have participated in the major peaceful marches in June, but all have different experiences after the clash on 12th June.
We captured the kids who even worried to be charged with unlawful assembly at first, but they not afraid to besiege the Police Force Headquarter. How’s the psychological change?

10 years ago, nearly 70,000 people died in the Wenchuan earthquake. Thousands of parents lost their children. After the quake, many people suspected shoddy construction work caused a large number of schools to collapse. Sang Jun and Liu Yuting, the parents of 2 victims, persevered in finding the truth. In the past decade, they trod the same road of appeals to the court, petitioning Beijing, and asking the media to expose the issue. But investigations still wallow in the mires.
For 10 years, they struggled between persistence and renunciation.
Will persistence bring a new dawn?
Will giving up mean the lost of all hope?

Online scams are rising in number and police and officials regularly warn about the risks and the need to be alert. But those searching for love and romance need to take even greater care as the fraudsters targeting dating sites and social media have perfected their charms, knowing when and how to ask questions to get their way. A lonely person can in such circumstances easily fall prey to a potential suitor who appears attractive, inviting and trusting.

"Twelve Hong Kong people on bail attempted to flee to Taiwan by speedboat were arrested by the Mainland Coast Guard and have been detained in Yantian District Detention Centre in Shenzhen for over 60 days. Their families have been doing everything they can, to make sure that the detainees’ legal rights are being respected while they are being held in custody. They voiced their inner desperate struggles in the interviews."
