Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visits Chinese People's Volunteers Martyrs Cemetery
Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Martyrs Cemetery of the Chinese People's Volunteers in Hoechang County of South Phyongan Province and paid a noble tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' entry into the Korean front.
Present on the occasion were Choe Ryong Hae, Ri Pyong Chol and Kim Tok Hun, Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK; and Pak Jong Chon, Kim Jae Ryong, Ri Il Hwan and Kim Hyong Jun, Members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK.
Also on hand were Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon; Admiral Kim Myong Sik and General Kim Kwang Hyok, Commanders of Services of the Korean People's Army; Ri Yong Chol, Chairman of the Hoechang County Party Committee; and Kim In Chol, Chairman of the Hoechang County People's Committee.
A guard of honour of the KPA was lining up at the Martyrs Cemetery of the Chinese People's Volunteers.
When Kim Jong Un arrived at the Memorial Tower for the Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers together with senior officials of the Party, the government and the military, the national anthem of the People's Republic of China and the DPRK national anthem--Patriotic Song--were played solemnly.
Amid the wreath-laying playing music, placed at the tower were the floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Party, the state and the armed forces of Korea, and the floral baskets in the name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and the KPA.
Kim Jong Un observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers.
And then, he called at the tomb of Mao Anying lying in state in the Martyrs Cemetery of the Chinese People's Volunteers.
The floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed at his tomb.
Kim Jong Un paid homage to Mao Anying.
He looked round the tombs of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers together with the accompanying senior officials of the Party, the state and the armed forces.

Historic monument to Kimilsungia unveiled in Indonesia
A historic monument to Kimilsungia was unveiled at the Orchid Greenhouse of the Bogor Botanical Garden in Indonesia.
The unveiling ceremony was held on the 10th.
Seen in the venue of the event were photographs showing the undying achievements made by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the development of the friendly relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Indonesia, and a photo of the respected Kim Jong Un among children.
Present at the event were personages of the People's Consultative Assembly, the Democratic Party of Struggle, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Technical Study, and the Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the DPRK.
Also on hand was the DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Indonesia.
Participating in the event through video conferencing were political, academic and economic figures and members of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in different countries including Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.
Screened first was a DPRK documentary dealing with the historic visit to Indonesia by Kim Il Sung.
Then, the monument was unveiled.
Written on the monument were the letters to the effect that President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il of the DPRK visited this greenhouse on April 13, 1965 and the then President Sukarno named the most beautiful orchid newly bred at the greenhouse after President Kim Il Sung and called it Kimilsungia.
At the event, the participants watched a video program sent in congratulation of the unveiling of the monument, and heard speeches.

Floral tribute paid to bronze statues of Kim Jong Suk
Officials, working people and service personnel of the People's Army laid bouquets and flowers at the bronze bust of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on the 24th on the occasion of her 104th birth anniversary.
They observed a moment's silence, warmly looking back upon the noble life of Kim Jong Suk who devoted her all to the sacred cause for liberation of the country and happiness of the people.
That day, officials, working people and service personnel of the People's Army in the provinces visited the bronze statues of Kim Jong Suk in different places of the country including Hoeryong City, Kim Jong Suk County and Kim Jong Suk Naval University and paid high tribute to her.
