Playlist: Like Goal: 15 Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Playthrough Part 3: Surviving Dark Aether's Poison Now it's time to explore Dark Aether and this also means that we need to find a means to get stronger. Our regular suit isn't going to be good enough here. We also have our first showdown against Dark Samus. Basically it's a dark version of Samus who is trying to get stronger by absorbing Phazon. It's not a tough fight but it can be intense. The only thing you need to do is go on the offensive against it. Watch out for it's phazon based attacks. Once half its health is drained, he'll rely on using a powerful rolling attack to deal major damage. Be sure to dodge and then counter. Ultimately it'll head off and that's when you can move on. We also get our hands on the Dark Beam. Later on we get our hands on the Light Beam. The Dark Beam and Light Beam are two of the most important weapons you will need. Not to mention we try to recover the three Temple keys in order to reach the Dark Temple and beat the boss inside. It won't be easy but if we are to do this, we have to. In this case, it's Amorbis. You need to damage it's head then once you do that, go Morph Ball and have it suck you up. Then bomb it. You will have to repeat this multiple times to take it down. Once it's defeated, you acquire the Dark Suit and that's going to help us very in this game.
