I had a subscriber ask how to route the audio from his Behringer X18air into OBS. Historically, OBS only received audio across USB 1/2 from the console so this video explains how to make that work.
In this video we answer a question about how to use all of the FX on the X32 (or M32) and capture them in a Pro Tools Studio rig. Obviously, you can choose your own DAW, but Pro Tools happens to be the DAW of choice for this subscriber. We start out on a spreadsheet and then get into X32-Edit to complete the setup.

As a Sound Technician there re so many things to think about and so many details to attend to before, during and after a session. Outside of connecting equipment properly, the most important thing to get right in your process is setting proper Gain. Each input needs to be normalized to a consistent input gain and then your soundboard or DAW will respond positively for you.

This video covers how to setup the routing to send you live stream audio to Zoom and have audio from Zoom come back into your console. I am using the Behringer X32 console, but the steps are the same on the Midas M32 console as well.
*** NOTE ***
Please make sure you save your scene on the console BEFORE you update firmware. Your current settings per channel will be cleared. You can reload your scene after update, but make sure to save your scene before updating.

In this video I am finishing up the rear suspension. I hit the finish welding on the axle parts and double check the travel and articulation. Watch to the end to see it moving on its own ‘power’. It has been a lot of work and brain power to put it together, but I would do it all over again (albeit a little faster) on another project.

The Green Monster got towed to my house and pushed into my garage area. I fixed some fuel issues, replaced the water pump, and did some cleaning and now this thing is running. Now we can start working on the frame swap part of this large project.

I had a recent conversation with a friend which is a Tech Director at his church. I grabbed my side of the conversation and thought it might be helpful for others to know how I structure my teams and program.

In a previous video I started working on the metal work and it proved to be way more difficult than I can take on. I've had to make some tough decisions about this project because it needs a bunch of metal work. Is it over? Is this the end of this 1954 Chevy Truck Frame Swap project?

This video talks about all of the routing and general settings to get multitrack audio from your console into your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). I use Presonus StudioOne Pro, but you could choose from any major DAW and make this work. Once you build your live stream mix in the DAW you can then route the audio back into your console and then out to your video switcher or live streaming device.
