Piddle In The Marsh, N Gauge Model Railway 37. The Bit you don't normally see. See description
1. I had a comment earlier from a Mr Coombes who said he had never seen this part of PITM. Originally it was to be a storage area and 2 running lines but I hated just looking at nothing so a shopping precinct was created for the town of Lickerwell. Not finished yet but you get the idea.
2. The buildings are Metcalfe and the street is cantilevered out over one track using curved brick card. The push switches control all points on the layout and if the Dynamis box and IR receiver are removed the draw like bit slides into the baseboard out of the way.
3. On the right hand corner of the back scene is an additional IR receiver for the Dynamis which has eliminated any "not spots" for the handset and stopped any cutting the power. The back scene is located on dowells and is removable

Now to me this response is anything but satisfactory, it is more of a go away we don't give a dam about your problem !
Well Kevin, I am not going to go away, Dapol have a quality control problem which you are pretending doesn't exist. So stop behaving like an ostrich and sort the problem.
Will anyone else who has issues with anything Dapol please email Kevin and let him know so he wakes up and realises he has a problem.

This is my FGW HST Brand NEW running in session. It has been run in solo first and made some interesting noises then. But after running in it has by no means got any better. The rear of the power car shakes and eventually jumps off the track.
What happened to quality control Dapol ?
This one is going back to Dapol for them to see what rubbish they are sending out.
No use sending to DCC Supplies because they don't get to see how bad their product is at the moment.

A Video to complain about YouTube thought Police acting without due care and making a complete fuck up.
This is all about the word FAG and my use of the word FAG.
A FAG is and English Language word for a cigarette.
America Took OUR English Language and made an abortion of it.
America does not speak English it speaks "Septic Tank".
So stop judging My English Language by your incorrect assumptions of a words meaning.
I expect an apology very quickly and the comments from myself and those others who used the word FAG to be reinstated or my participation on YouTube will stop.

Hello and welcome back to Piddle In The Marsh and a big hello to all the new subscribers that have joined over the past week, which was due to Stephen at Elvenhome N Gauge Railway giving me a very flattering shout out, so thank you Stephen.
it's been one week since I took delivery of the HST-P and I fitted the Hunts couplings (close fitting). I hadn't got any of the slightly longer ones for power cars so phoned Hunts couplings for a pair which much to my amazement they refused to take payment and sent me the pair of couplings FOC. So thank you Hunts Couplings of West Hill Wagon Works
( Tel 07391216729). Dapol light bars are impossible to get hold of for some reason so the light bars came from www.tramfabriek.no which is actually based in Eton Wick England. These I did pay for in full.
The HST-P now really looks just as it should.
Having had quite few messages via Twitter, YouTube and email requesting a HST running session I thought why not. But with only having three HST's the Western Pullman joined in as well. Seemed only right because as the Pullman was being withdrawn in 2973 the HST-P was being tested, then was introduced in to service in 1975, only to be withdrawn in 1976 as the HST arrived and now all we have left in the West Country is the HST Castle sets between Cardiff and Penzance. With the occasional XCountry set passing through. Only one HST has sound and trust me one set with Screaming Valenta engines is enough. Although I do plan to add sound at a later date to the GWR Castle set.

At the weekend Paul Coombes liked to do most of the work on his railway. He hated the weekend, unless rugby was on tv and gave him "something to do".
Paul started 2021 by saying he was only going to do one video a month and he had broken his New Year Resolution within days doing an update on what he had achieved that day.
So by Thursday he had usually completed what he had set out to do and would have "A Little Running Session".
This he used to announce out in his distinctive accent and very quickly as "Pengam Bridge Lockdown Running Session".
With Paul this meant his trains running the gauntlet between bits of wood, tools he had been using, one or more empty coffee cups and a can of lager. The Lager can becoming a standing joke and known as the Fosters Tower !
The friendly banter and insults that passed between us have stopped now since he passed away at the beginning of March but the memories of the fun will last forever.
I will end with his usual parting words from when we spoke on the phone,
"Go on Bugger off you're boring me now."
l wonder if he has already ripped up the track on God's railway layout "to make it better" ?
