Stability Quest Completed! Destruction and More. (Part 3, 1-lb Antweight Combat Robot)
Mini Mulcher is a 1-pound Antweight combat robot, designed around the idea of using an angled overhead bar spinner. Its namesake is a heavyweight bot sporting an angled lawnmower called The Mulcher. Mini Mulcher was designed to utilize a lawnmower blade as a weapon, but I quickly ran into problems with using a long thin blade. This video is the conclusion of my three-part Mini Mulcher Stability Quest series. I'll be going over how I completed all this, and what led to the design decisions I made. Can I get the bot to self-right reliably? How do I stop it from flipping over?
