From a couple weeks ago on a work trip to Phoenix. Took the chance to try my first cliff dive at the Superstition Mountains. When I looked at the footage later on I realized I flew the entire day on bent props. Talk about the biggest letdown of the trip...
This edit took a while only because I had a weird work schedule the past two weeks and I was getting the hang of motion tracking in Resolve.
I'm still getting used to TBS Tracer which, of course, is much better than FrSky XM+ which I started on. In my limited experience I don't think Tracer is suitable for any scenario beyond line-of-site-medium-range/freestyle or racing. It just doesn't punch through objects like I thought it would. Of course I am using the stock TX antenna so what do I know. But I have a feeling I'll be moving the 7" quad to either ExpressLRS at some point (because it's cheap), or Crossfire (if I can afford it).
Finally got GPS Rescue working in the modified long range drone. Surprise and excitement ensued when my GoPro was still recording on final landing. I took off with 11% battery remaining.
Flying is different with my long range 7" quad. Just trying to wrap my head around the stylistic difference which will be helped by launching from a spot with better line of sight. But for that flight I wanted to test out obstructions and interference.
Desperately trying to get more comfortable in proximity on my 5". Playgrounds without soft targets are definitely helpful. And chasing Hawks is icing on the cake.
Work has been insane so I've not flown in quite some time. More videos on the way. Some extended family wanted to see what fpv was all about so I flew a couple packs for them.
