A short presentation, and teaser of more to come. On the road to ‘prologlajvkonvent’, Swedens largest larp conention, we present our program items, and talk about what we will do and are looking forward to.
Jon talks about his network meetup, and a larp about wearing your feelings on the outside, both organized together with Karin Johansson. Sofia Stenler talks about her larp ‘Next Stop Kymlinge’, a chamber larp about strong feelings and letting go (without spoiling to much).
Swedish larp, and larp at Prolog is not that much about fireballs and rubber swords, but rather black box and theatre-like experiences, exploring feelings and acting. It is also a community containing many that have turned their passion into professional careers.
A short update from the soldering station, showing one of the new modules for the spaceship simpit.

The Creative Geek is here for the semi-professional to professional designers, creators, tinkerers and makers who want to understand and make games, toys and playful technology. The focus is on play, playfulness and interaction, rather than on the games in themselves.
This can include not only computer games and board games, but also such different activities as role playing games, larp, playful IoT, augmented and virtual reality, escape rooms, pervasive games, playground design and even gamification and play based learning.
We are the ones who not only consume, but also create playful geek culture, in one form or another. If you are a self-defining geek, passionate about creating, this is the place for you!

Learn activity design and ongoing in-the-moment design from this interview with professional magician Arkadia.
What’s in the creative mind of a professional liar? In this episode we’re talking to Arkadia, professional magician, performer and entertainer. In a series of videos we discuss the meeting with the audience, and the interesting thing that happens when you invite participants and thereby the chance of new things happening onto stage. We look into the design process, both the structures behind the scenes, but also the in-the-moment design that happen as improvisation happens.
