Instead of lining yourself up to fall directly into the cutscene, you can run forwards from that point of where you are lining up, hold peek as you fall down to land on an invisible floor of the map, and just turn around quickly into the cutscene trigger. The third try of this shows how quickly it can be done, and it can be used as a backup or marathon safe strat.
