Hello guys! Today, I have a Rookie teaser for my (fictional) Sonic Forces Chaos Cut (Sonic Forces/Snyder Cut Crossover)! I used the Flash teaser for this one, just because it fits with the Rookie character. I believe the “Make your own future” and “Make your own past” and "You can be whatever you want to be" (which is not true in the slightest, thanks to something called reality) lines really emphasize the OC aspect of the Rookie. This isn’t exactly new to this character, but I wanted to (further) emphasize the Rookie’s troubles with Infinite (hence the flashback and the random Phantom Ruby sound effect), and his friendship with Sonic. So nothing new there… However, overall (editing-wise), I think this one looks and feels awesome! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this version of Sonic Forces! Today, I'm revealing my new Spectrum The Hedgehog character stills with this channel's first Try Not To Laugh Challenge video; and I'm starting this series off by reacting to "Reddit's Try Not To Laugh Challenge!" I haven't been able to do as many discussion/reaction videos now that I've rebranded, and I wanted a new format in order to go along with that. Thankfully, I managed to run into @KiraTheHedgehogKTH, who just so happened to make character stills! And honestly, the results of my commissioning her are worth it! This new Spectrum art looks phenomenal! So thank you @KiraTheHedgehogKTH for doing such a wonderful job on these stills; and you guys should go check her out too! I will say though, editing them into this video was tough. I originally made a resource video of the stills all together on a green screen so that I wouldn't have to worry about them not being the same size as each other, and that's what I used here. But InShot just can't seem to handle it well! I only had one crash during the editing process, but the rest of the editing time was comprised of choppiness... So because of the stills, editing this video overall was hard! I think I'll get the hang of it eventually though; I have to, after all. Anyways, I originally was planning this video to be a Try Not To Laugh with viewer submissions. But that didn't pan out, as you guys sent videos I couldn't really use... So I'm reacting to "Reddit's Try Not To Laugh" instead; and don't worry, we can try viewer submissions again someday... As an aside, I did have to censor a lot of the original video and cut a lot of content (in the aforementioned original video and my recordings), but I think the final cut feels just as good! In terms of editing this video, again, animating the character stills did not make this easy. InShot's stability issues around Pips caused the stills themselves to cut to other stills at the incorrect times, which was also an issue with (mostly) the videos underneath. Hopefully, InShot irons that out... And while the final cut is a bit rough (with some slight audio misplacements near the end and some of the stills not being timed properly), I still think this video is good enough to show. So hopefully, you can excuse my editing errors; I'll try to iron them out for future videos. Anyways, with all that said, I hope you enjoyed this first Try Not To Laugh video, and I hope to use these new character stills for more videos in the future!
