LinusTechTips, if you're not aware, is one of the most popular tech YouTube channels out there... yet somehow, Linus has never daily-driven Linux. Never even tried to!
With the advent of the Steam Deck, though, Linus has come around to the idea of "Linux Gaming" and challenged his friend Luke to use Linux on their home rigs.
Somehow Linus had a pretty rough go of it but ultimately they were (mostly) able to complete the first task of their challenge. Play a game on Linux with sound.

So Microsoft Windows 11 has leaked online and--being a designer by trade--I couldn't resist critiquing the new design.

# Why aren't you using other video services like LBRY or PeerTube?
I am on LBRY: https://beta.lbry.tv/@TheLinuxGamer and I also have a BitChute mirror.
Most PeerTube instances have a data quota that just doesn't serve my channel well. My videos are high-res (4K) and I'd exceed most quotas in one or two videos.

Yooka-Laylee is an game out of time; both in terms of its development cycle and its mechanics. I would have preferred a refreshing take on the 3D platformer informed by the veteran team’s experience at Rare. Instead, we have a virtual 1:1 Banjo-Tooie remake with different characters. While I had a lot of fun playing Yooka-Laylee, the list of issues and dated paint-by-numbers design left me yearning a truely remarkable 3D platformer. Maybe a more streamlined, updated sequel to Yooka-Laylee will be what I’m looking for, but if you enjoy those classic Rare platformers of yore, give this one a shot.
