Today we're at Blue Lake, usual home of the Portland Open. This course is a beast! It's super long, and crazy unforgiving. OB is everywhere, and Chance and I are joined by Abdul, a new friend who absolutely CRUSHES drives. Join us on this adventure!
It's been a little while since new content dropped, but there's a reason for that (in addition to Thanksgiving). This year, we're doing vlogmas! A video per day through Christmas day! Let's get it started with some peoples' most hated disc, the Groove!
While doing some field work I realized I was getting what felt like better form by using a shorter run-up, but I didn't get the chance to measure the actual distances for comparison. Today I'm comparing a full run-up to an abbreviated run-up, and trying to find out: 1) If there's a difference in distance, 2) if that distance is significant, and 3) What's costing me distance? So join me as I try to figure out what the hell I'm doing with my throw!
Today we're playing a new course from the long tees; Fritchie Park in Slidell, Louisiana! This wooded course is on the shorter side, but HIGHLY technical. I'm going to need to learn some good turnover lines if I'm wanting to be successful here. Join me as I explore a new course away from Corpus Christi!
Possibly the best banter and definitely the best made putt celebration to grace the channel so far is from Champoeg. Can Chance clinch the sweep of Oregon recorded courses? Will any old people die by disc impact? Find out by watching!
The Kickstarter disc golf disc that everyone is asking about has finally arrived! I was so excited to throw it that I even forgot the intro and had to edit it in later. Is this the straightest disc in disc golf? Will it replace the Voodoo as my go-to putter? Sooooo many questions and many of them actually get answered!
One of my oldest video ideas is finally getting its day in the sun! Today we're talking about three throws or ways of throwing that I never see used during professional coverage. Sometimes it's lack of opportunity. Sometimes, it's because it's more fun to be the little spoon.
Throw upshots like a pro... er... I mean, like a dubious MA1 player with this handy trick! Knowing your distances and how to capitalize on them is a great way to save strokes and have to make fewer longer putts.
