I took a buddy out for his first time eradicating hogs and he was able to drop a sow and a coyote using a Ruger American Predator chambeed in 6.5 Creedmoor. I was only able to drop one hog due to user error using an AR15 chambered in 450 Bushmaster.
I've been using 7.62x39 on feral hogs for years and recently put it into an AR platform. I'm taking my buddy out on a meat hunt to test the effectiveness of 7.62x39 and 300 WinMag on feral hogs. I started hunting hogs with 450 Bushmaster to see what all the hype was about and because I was tired of tracking down pigs. 450 Bushmaster didn't disappoint, it's been incredibly effective in dropping large hogs in their tacks with little to no tracking involved.
That being said, I've got a new project I'm working on, an AR chambered in 7.62x39. I'm going to take the Pulsar Thermion off of the 450 Bushmaster and start doing some thermal hunts with the 7.62x39.
It's been a great ride 450 Bushmaster, I'll come back to visit soon!

Times are hard i get it. Ammo is expensive. So i snagged some 50 year old 44 magnum reloads to test in the name of science.
Don’t try this at home. I’m a professional…..Kind of.
Every round was inspected. A few were tossed out. I do not recommend casually shooting old reloads but just wanted to test if it’s possible when properly stored.

I had some stovepipes with my second P80 build a few days ago and took a few corrective measures. I took some more material out of the guide rod channel as well as racked the slide close to 500 additional times. Let's see how this goes.....these p80s have been a lot of fun.
