I got a couple of mBots and recorded the building of one. It takes about 10 minutes to build one (slowly).

I heated a can with 1 tablespoon of water and quickly put it upside into cold water, the remaining air suddenly cooled. As the gas cooled, it lost kinetic energy which results in a lower pressure inside the can. Because the air inside the can was lower than the outside, it imploded.
