I used to think that the world worked in a very analytical way. I wouldn't open my mind for anything outside of my comfort zone.
However, recently things have been changing and my way of thinking has changed. I did a video recently that talked about coincidences and most people did not understand it the way it should be.
In this video, I'll brag a little bit more about life and what I believe when it comes to logic, coincidences and how the world works.

How To Learn Algorithms?
Recently, I did a video about algorithms and whether it was a good idea to learn it or not. I see a lot of programmers making much noise about algorithms and well... In the end, it might not be ALL OF THIS for you to worry about it so much.
I know this topic divides opinions on the internet. Some programmers might say that learning algorithms will definitely make your career stand out from the crowd, while others might say that you should not invest your time in learning algorithms because it is useless.
An algorithm is a self-contained step-by-step set of operations to be performed. Algorithms perform calculation, data processing, and/or automated reasoning tasks.
So, a lot of programmers started to ask me: Okay John, how do I learn algorithms after all?
In this video, I'll provide you the best resources on the internet for learning algorithms and everything you need to know.

Should I Go To College Or Just Start Working?
You're a high school student. You want to start working as a programmer but you also want to go to college. However, you can only choose one of them.
What should you do?
There are a lot of people that have this problem. They want to go to college, get a high degree but they want/need to start working. However, doing both things is extremely exhausting and you can end up fucking with both of them.
If you could choose just one thing John, what would you choose? Would you prefer to go to college or would you skip that and just start working?

When You're Living In The Past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycJOHgcdCOo
Tattoos As A Developer
Being a developer means fitting in a certain pattern of living. Just like any other type of profession and niche, people make assumptions based on our lives.
Stop to think for a minute about what comes to mind when you think of a software developer. Nerd, responsible, fat, wear glasses etc. All these assumptions we make also tend to lead us in a way that makes people think other things as well.
Working for a company also reinforces these type of things. We want to look professional and we want to make this professional look last. So, how would a tattoo fit in that way?
I've received that question a lot and my answer is not simple. Yet, I'll not only talk about how a tattoo would change the way people perceive you but also how you can use this tattoo thing to make you a more interesting character and person.

John, What Is Gratefulness?
Gratefulness... Being grateful for everything. We hear that a lot, right? Especially nowadays with all the self-help gurus, yoga teachers on Instagram... This has become such a common thing to say and do, especially on social media.
I believe that saying all this stuff and not stopping to pay attention to the real meaning of it can be hurtful. We simply lose the real meaning and the powerful concept behind gratefulness.
So, what is gratefulness? How can we understand the concept behind it? Watch this video and find out!

Hate Something...? Do More Of It!
Do you hate something? I bet you do. We all hate people, stuff and, most of all, obligations.
However, in today's video I wanted to talk to you about this. Do you hate something? So, do more of it! Yeah, you heard it right.
A lot of people tend to suppress or get away from things they hate, simply because they hate. What you should be really doing was embracing those things you hate and doing more of them. Doing more and more. Until you master those things and they don't bother you anymore.
Let's take, for example, the fear of public speaking. If you suffer from public speaking, you should be doing more and more of it. until you master it.
So, watch this video to understand more about this powerful concept.

Book Publishing Strategy: How To Rank #1 On Amazon?
How To Rank Number 1 On Amazon? As probably the majority of you know, I'm the author of Soft Skills: The Software Developer's Life Manual Book. And with that book, I got ranked #1 on Amazon and I still figure out among the highest ranked books on Software Development.
So, what is the strategy for ranking so high on Amazon's Best Seller Books? Well, the most powerful strategy I have for ranking #1 on Amazon is building up what I call "launch day".
The launch day consists in reuniting all efforts and all actions into one single day, which is the day you'll launch your book. You need to create a very powerful and consistent marketing strategy so you can make a lot of people buy your book on your launch day. Once you do that, you'll hit the #1 spot on the Amazon's Best Seller Books.
It helps not only the ranking but, the more people see your book among the top books of your genre, the easier it will be for you to sell more books.
So, are you interested in figuring out how to rank #1 on Amazon? Watch this video to find out.
