JR 11MUSP Bach - Brandenburg Concerto No.5 in D major BMV 1050
We interrupt our regular programming to bring you this piece from school! A class performance of part of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No.5. Performed by uniformed students plus one teacher! with solo violin, solo flute, two pianos, cello, bass clarinet and xylophone. I'm left hand piano (I will graciously leave the scale runs to my partner in crime) ^^ Please enjoy :D With thanks to our music teacher, Mr Wong! his channel is at https://www.youtube.com/user/pattywong23 ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yODCXCkHu0
As you may have heard I've been stuck in exams recently, and being a music (Music 2) student, I have a practical component! So I thought it would be a good idea to record my pieces, so I could watch myself to hopefully improve next time, and also so you guys could watch it :)
Here's my second (uploaded in wrong order :/) piece, 'Aufschwung' by Schumann. As you may have guessed from following my channel, I don't usually play non-contemporary music, but this piece was for this exam. I've also had the privilege of learning from a piano teacher starting this year, for future exams and hopefully an eventual AMusA! But back to the piece, I suppose I do still have a bit of work to go, not least being the bar that I almost missed in the middle...
So please enjoy!
Sheets are available... on the internet, if you Google it :)

Something cool is coming soon! Then it won't be so shrouded in mystery...

Here's something new! This song is from a game called Starwish, and it's an RPG shooter. It's a really nice story, and while I didn't get all the endings myself (I youtubed them), they're written very well, so props to xdanond for a great game :D
Now to the song: the original song was already piano only, and I found it a very good song. Naturally I decided to arrange it and learn it, which was pretty cool. This is almost a note-for-note arrangement (I won't say exactly in case there are mistakes, which I don't doubt), so it's pretty close to the original. Obviously the audio quality isn't as good...
You can find the game here: http://www.kongregate.com/games/xdanond/rpg-shooter-starwish
and the soundtrack here: http://www.auriplane.net/Starwish%20Original%20Soundtrack/
(i like to think of it as 'promotion' and not 'advertising')
So please enjoy :D

The summer continues...
Over a month since my last cover, I'm still here with something from the Mekaku OST! I've listened - and played - these songs since quite a while back, so why not record them with a proper setup? More are coming soon, as I've arranged a handful and intend to record.
Maybe even watch out for some more Mekakucity Reload...
With thanks to TurnerPiano whose first cover of this inspired me to finally record mine :) you can find it here: https://youtu.be/5iVDRtVkbdY

Here's an OP from one of my current favourite anime! I only recently watched the first Assassination Classroom (after hearing about the second season) so I'm now following it. I quite liked the opening theme, so I decided to cover it too as you can see/hear.
So please enjoy :D

Also, a somewhat late celebration of 50k views! I like numbers and milestones so this is a nice number for me (technically I'm almost at 55k now but 50's a nicer number). Also I've hit 200 subs too which is quite exciting; so thank you to all you guys for visiting and listening :D

Steins;Gate 0 is really picking up at the moment!
I'm really enjoying following this anime, and the music really adds to it. I don't know if I'll cover the OP yet, but for the time being, here's the new second ED! I share others' sentiment that it's a shame they didn't have a more substantial animation, but at least it sounds good ^^

It's been so long since my last medley (it was last September, for my first video's first anniversary), but here's another collection of a lot of songs!
These songs are from the Phoenotopia OST (https://sillythewilly.bandcamp.com/al...). It's a game that I played late last year, and I really enjoyed, which is why I decided to learn the OST. Admittedly it's been quite a while since I started learning the songs, but that's because it's taken me a while to both learn it and record it well.
Also, something new is the added harmony, about halfway through? It's the first time I've recorded one part on top of another and I hope you'll enjoy how it sounds together.
I haven't included all the songs in the soundtrack, partly because playing for 12 minutes is tiring. I pretty much had to finish and *rest a bit* at the end...
Anyway, please enjoy this medley :D

Fun fact: this is also my first channel's first and a half anniversary! (my first upload was Sep 1 which is neater, but technically I started my channel on Aug 28. I actually intended March 1, but this works too ;p)
(and spot the game reference in the description as well xD)
The title also says "Part 1" now, so do expect more in the near/slightly distant future!

The James Ruse choir performed at Ruse's Mid-Year Concert! This was our second song of the night.
I was really excited to perform and accompany this song, as it's one of my own arrangements and something I'm quite proud of!
The conductor is music teacher Patrick Wong.
