(362) “SINA” No 1 by Keyless Entry | Challenge lock battle
Today, determined to finally get that open so I can see inside what has been keeping me out this long. Many many attempts have been made on this C L since I was given this a long time ago. I haven't touched this lock in many months. I tackle @KeylessEntry SINA their first C L. A tough lock to pick with awesome pins created to make this challenge lock indeed a fun challenge. I want to move on the four challenge locks I have that have eluded me the open. This lock will now be sent overseas.
Check out @KeylessEntry special thank you to @TheButchersbLock for the 3D lock holder I use in this video
Challenge locks are locks that have at least 6 modifications done to them and are built as part of a locksporters journey through the United Lock Pickers Belt Ranking System. The modifications can be a combinations of bible mods, chamber mods or mods to keypins and top/driver pins.
1882-1885 established as the Port Adelaide Battery to defend Adelaide during the Russo- Turkish war of 1877-78. Lieutenant Colonel Peter Scratchley designed both Fort Largs and Fort Glanville.
Fort Largs was equiped with six inch breechloading disappearing guns
This Fort was in use during World War One And World War Two
The place was called Fort Largs Garrison Artillery. They were known as militia Garrison Artillerymen
It is important to keep these historical military Forts as a reminder of the brutality and high human causality’s war brings. Lest We Forget

Unboxing this Deadbolt I discuss the quality of the lock. I pick the lock open and take a look at the internals of the lock.
The cylinder is very light and has sharpe edges. The key pins are standard and rounded at the top, the top pins, the driver pins are standard and rounded at both ends. The core/plug is very light and has a chamfer cut into the top of each hole.
I was able to lockpick this deadbolt open using top of the keyway tension wrench and single pin pick it using a standard commercial hook lockpick
The metals used is this lock are very light and thin. The saying of ‘you get what you pay for’ is true for this deadbolt.
If you are looking for a lock that is long lasting and secure then this is not the lock for you.
Thanks for watching.
