A poem about the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723 and background galaxies observed by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
I wrote this poem two summers ago when the first batch of JWST images were revealed. It's not a good poem but I wanted to write something about the observation :P . It's amazing how these images can have a powerful impact on people, stopping them in their tracks for the moment and creating a feeling of wonder.
Artificial Intelligence is and will integrate within many facets of our lives, so it's really interesting to think about how it will change things (for better or worse).
The interaction between AI and neuroscience will certainly yield increasingly rapid (and accurate?) techniques that could be used for disease diagnosis/prediction, pattern recognition in large datasets and... "mind reading".
