My Cousin and I headed to the range and brought along his grandson. We were planning to shoot but mostly we watched his grandson learn.
I also made him memorize the 4 laws of gun safety.
This is some short clips of the day. First he shoots a 10/22, then I let him shoot my C96 Mauser (note the ammo used was 1920s vintage surplus and was not reliable.
He got off one round then ran into a dud and gave up.
This ends with him shooting my cousin’s 357 carry revolver.
The rest of the day was the boy running through some 12 gauge in the single shot and more practice with the 22.
Watching the younger folk finding the joy of shooting is tiring. He was ready to go for hours more but we were exhausted :)
PS I did Split then shatter the bowling ball with the FN49 Sorry I did not film it.
