Introduction to the Word - Who are the People of God?
The children of Israel were not chosen by the will of man or anything that we did to deserve such an honour. It was simply by God’s choosing. He made a choice, and we will see that today.
We are going to look at who are the people of God and what makes them the people of God.
When introducing this subject for the first time to those that have been in the modern religion for a long time, they usually struggle with the idea that God can and does choose what he wants to do irrespective of what we think he should do.
First class in the series to look at the coming destruction prophesied in the Bible.
In this class we will examine the idea of the rapture and show that it is not what people think it is.
In subsequent weeks we will go further in the Bible and see what will be taking place.
Part 3 of the (very lengthy) class
These classes are about the true prophets of God.
In this class we explore some real encounters with God and what people's reactions are like.
The goal of this study is to understand the role of the prophets, what they endured, their focus and message and most importantly, their relationship with The Most High.
You could substitute the title “prophet” for almost all other titles used today; pastors, bishop, evangelist, etc. Because everyone and his dog is trying to claim that they have some prophetic abilities or gifts.
A lot of people from every area of life are calling themselves prophets and prophetesses and telling people they have a word from God or God came and spoke to them to come tell you.
At some point it has to become clear that people are completely oblivious to biblical instructions. They claim that the word ‘Bible’ is an acronym to mean: Basic Instructions before Leaving Earth. And yet they have not read the instructions, do not want to hear the instructions and if they are forced to listen, they do not want to believe or follow the instructions.
Part 1 of looking at the colour of biblical characters and understaning the imapct it has on the reader when they are taught a lie.
In this class we take a look at Adam, Joseph and the Apostle Paul to determine what colour they are.
Some will say it is unnecessary and irrelevant. Some may go as far and trying to refute what is clearly written. The truth is always relevant, often disliked, but always relevant.
The Son of God was killed for preaching the truth. If the same truth ends up being taught today then it is at least anticipated that the message will receive hate.
Despite all this, the truth must be told. Join me in taking in exploring what the Bible says about the characters in the book in order that we should paint history with the correct brush.
A lot of the things people believe concerning the Bible are no true.
Here are three things that have been taught as truth, but is not supported in the text itself.
The world has successfully corrupted the minds of the people to the point where even the very foundation and basics of marriage and relationsips has been lost over time.
While I am not claiming to be some expert at the subject, the truth of the matter is that the blueprint or the design for the marriage, the operation of the household and how we are supposed to live, is written in the Bible.
It is therefore a necessity that we examine ourselves and check if the things we practice and do, the things that we believe and say, if they are really in accordance to the scriptures or if they are only based on our own feelings and what was handed down to us.
This exploration will require that we face some questions and challenges that may be uncomfortable or that we do not want to hear. But which is more important, your desires or your salvation?
This week I will continue with what I am referring to as some of the basics regarding the scriptures.
The subject today will be a continuation of Psychology and Emotions.
It is not intended to be an in-depth study of the subject but rather just some things to bear in mind when you are reading the scriptures.
In a similar way that the mind of a child is impressionable and will believe whatever an adult tells them, the minds of our people have been indoctrinated with ideas and beliefs without us verifying them.
We are at a point in time where we no longer have the excuse of ignorance to continue in things that we have not looked into.
This brief introduction to some of the psychological ills that plague our people is just one step on the journey of awakening.
A continuation on the subject of marriage.
In this class we will look more at what is acceptable according to the Bible and build our understanding further or the terminologies used in the scripture.
Last time we looked mostly at what the Bible says to see what "normal" is supposed to look like. So we spoke quite a lot about virgins and their relationships. But what about women who are no longer virgins?
