For those loveline fans during the peak of the show's popularity during the Adam Carolla / Dr. Drew era. These shows came from tape transfers and made into mp3 format. I did not record or transfer any of these shows, so when there's missing audio and the conversation suddenly ends in the middle of something interesting on occasion isn't my fault. Nothing I can do about it, either.
0:00:00 01. 2004-06-10: The guest is Alanis Morissette.
1:31:46 02. 2004-06-13: The guest is Bad Religion. This is a pretty great overall show.
3:02:23 03. 2004-06-14: The guest is Nicole Richie. Another very solid show.

(0:00:00) 01. 1997-02-11: The guest is The Verve Pipe. Adam talks about their appearance on the Leeza Gibbons Show including some clips.
(1:28:18) 02. 1997-02-13: The guests are Gretchen Adams and Jim V both of whom have HIV and are discussing condoms and whatnot as part of condom week. It's a solid show actually.
(3:05:53) 03. 1997-02-16: The guests are Teen Line Counselors. Drew gets candid about the struggles of going through all the schooling to be a doctor when he was younger. I've never heard him talk about it before like this, so that was interesting. The teen guests are cool and sometimes even funny. Good show.

(0:00:00) 01. 2001-12-13: The guests are Chris Evans, Ron Lester & Chyler Leigh. Ron Lester died young at 45 from liver and kidney failure. He weighed over 500 pounds at one point before losing it all which probably played a role.
(1:32:30) 02. 2001-12-16: The guest is Serenity.
(3:07:18) 03. 2001-12-17: This is a no guest show.

(0:00:00) 01. 2003-06-08: The (second half) guest is Good Charlotte with "Airline rant" as a supp title.
(1:31:13) 02. 2003-06-09: The guest is Nikki Ziering.
(3:05:36) 03. 2003-06-10: The guest is the Transplants.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-07-27: The guest is Sean Lennon and is missing the first 20 minutes or so which is probably lost forever. Lennon is ok though a bit douchey especially when Adam starts getting into trying to talk about the Beatles and John Lennon and seems a little miffed for the rest of the show. Drew continues stepping on Adam's jokes and they start arguing in front of Sean who quickly deflects attention back to the caller. Later on, Sean steps on Adam's jokes and he starts bitching again. Overall solid show!
(1:19:31) 02. 1998-07-28: This is a no guest show and a brand new addition to the archive. Adam tells another one of his dream stories and "Teem" the Russian Rapper is revisited. Another solid overall show!
(2:52:14) 03. 1998-07-29: The guest is former host of Loveline Riki Rachtman. As expected, Rachtman is an outstanding guest. There's some interesting discussion and some good calls. Solid overall show!
(4:25:49) 04. 1998-07-30: The guest is Gary Busey and is a newly completed show. Gary doesn't put up with Adam's crap and fires back at him whenever necessary which causes Adam to take it out on Drew by shutting off his mic. Gary talks about his motorcycle accident and his out-of-body experience which are experiences that are not uncommon when near death. Adam really gets a lot of good-natured shit from Gary in the second half of the show and it's really amusing. Anyway, Busey is a pretty deep guy and is quite interesting. Great overall show!

(0:00:00) 01. 1999-10-19: The guest is John Popper and once again, a jam session though you all know the truth about that by now. The ones jamming are the other members of Blues Traveller, but certainly not Adam and Drew no matter how much they try to make it seem like it was them. Aside from that, John is a great guest and is very involved with the show as always. Outstanding show despite the bullshit.
(1:28:05) 02. 1999-10-20: The guest is Meredith Brooks who is late and Adam goes off on the rest of the people working there and blames them for guests not showing up on time. I find this to be very unfair. What are they supposed to do, taxi the guests in personally? At some point, it is the responsibility of the guests to be there on time. Adam then turns on Drew and gets so pissed off that he walks out of the studio and leaves Drew to do the show by himself. Meredith shows up about 10 minutes later and Adam comes in with her to argue more with Drew. Anyway, Meredith gets involved with the content of the show to some degree which is always nice. Lightning Round at the end.
(2:55:43) 03. 1999-10-21: The guests are Ron Livingston & Emily Procter in a partial of 75 minutes, but the beginning is missing and the show ends abdup. It's kinda staticky due to a subpar signal, not perfectly audible. The guys continue to brag about the "jam session" with John Popper as though it was really them playing and they talk about playing a clip of it, but they either forget to play it or it's in part of the show that is missing. I think this is what annoys me personally; that they go so far out of their way to convince people of something that's not true. Adam even says his guitar is a Fender "Strat" and calls it his axe, but to my knowledge, Fender doesn't even make an axe style guitar. Even people who don't play guitars know what a Fender Strat is even if they don't know any other brands of guitars. Anyways, the guests are fairly active in the show. An angry gay caller disputes the message that some gay people are "created" through childhood trauma and Adam says "nigger" right over the air.
(4:11:08) 04. 1999-10-24: The guests are some Columbine students, so there's a lot of talk about what happened during that incident. With school shootings being commonplace these days, I'm just sick of hearing about them TBH. I think most people know some things that need should be done, but no one with the power to do it wants to do it. There's been a few in my state over the last year including one at a school two minutes from my house. It's kind of sad to me that we still haven't done anything about this and it's getting to the point of no longer even being shocking when it happens. In a country that constantly beats the glorified drum of war and violence that also happens to be the biggest arms dealer in the world (even selling to known terrorists.. which kind of makes the US terrorists, right? I won't even go into what the military does over there..), is it any wonder kids think it's ok to shoot people at school like terrorists and is it any wonder we can't get more sensible gun control laws? I don't think it's any one thing, but an amalgamation of many things none of which seem to be being addressed. Anyway, if you're interested in Columbine, you'll love this show as the first segment is nothing but talk about it.

(0:00:00) 01. 1999-02-15: The guest is Myles Berkowitz and is a nearly complete show. He apparently didn't have all that much fame from his movie and thus, not many good pictures exist of the guy. A pretty solid show overall with a rant or two sprinkled in. Myles is overwhelmed by the content of the show and after the first break, he actually requests lighter calls. Later on in the show, he criticizes (playfully) Adam and Drew for talking about farting on the radio as role models. Seems like a nice guy, but also kinda stuffy early on though he loosens up in the second half of the show. As for his movie that he shamelessly plugs on and off throughout the show, it was panned harshly and generally regarded as being awful.
Adam and Drew have a pretty hilarious exchange about Adam's masturbatory habits and tries to get Adam to bring up embarrassing stuff on the air in front of Myles which I think he's doing on purpose. That just makes it funnier, though.
(1:35:10) 02. 1999-02-16: The guests are Rob Blake & Sean O'Donnell from the LA Kings. Not too long ago, Blake was supposed to come on with Luc Robitaille, but that fell through. They leave at the halfway point in the show. Adam talks a lot about his opinions on the NHL and Drew gets yelled at by Adam for doing some extracurricular reading during the initial interview with the guys and then gets more grief later for eating on the air and spitting popcorn into the mic while talking to a caller. If you are a fan of hockey, there is a good amount of hockey talk and stuff. Tom Arnold, being a Kings fan, calls in as well. In the second half, typical high quality no guest show content complete with some farts from Adam.
(3:12:30) 03. 1999-02-17: The guest is the Dub Pistols specifically Barry Ashworth. He shows up after the first break, but before then, Adam gets exposed as a huge hypocrite by Drew, Mike and Ann who ambush him with it. Afterwards, he plays it off like he saw it coming which he certainly didn't and Drew certainly baited him into it successfully. Later on, Adam goes on a few rants after being encouraged several times by callers who say they love Adam's rants. Solid show!
(4:42:13) 04. 1999-02-18: The guest is Debbie Harry who you may know as Blondie, but was not feeling well and had a long day resulting in her leaving during the second break. More splice work was done on this show than most, so there are numerous obvious changes in audio quality though the quality is never bad. SO, this is really a no guest show with a brief appearance from Blondie who is a decent guest and probably would have been a great one if she wasn't sick here and had to leave early. Once again, Drew gets on Adam about not telling his therapist about his masturbatory habits.

Note: Going through some new releases/completed shows before starting 2001 which should be the beginning of faster releases. I may even jump back up to two a week again, we'll see. Enjoy!
(0:00:00) 01. 1996-09-15: The guests are Christine Taylor & Merrin Dungery in this ancient episode from 1996 which is a brand new addition to the archive. The two girls laugh a lot and seem happy to be there which is always nice. This is a lost gem that I'm glad the archive now includes. Enjoy this recently unearthed classic!
(1:37:59) 02. 1999-11-01: The guest is Jimmie's Chicken Shack and is a brand new addition to the archive. Unfortunately, it is incomplete at only 68 minutes due to the second long segment right after the halfway break and the end segment being missing. This show ends abruptly with one of those satellite beeps. Maybe we'll get the rest one day, but this may be all there ever will be of this one. The band are quite active in the show and make for fun guests. Also, a drop origin for the band's "Evil pot smokin' hand jobber! drop.
(2:46:02) 03. 1999-11-09: The guest is Our Lady Peace and is a newly completed addition to the archive. Previously, only about 35 minutes of this show existed. These guys are solid guests and this is a fun show.
(4:17:12) 04. 1999-11-10: The guest is Bruno Campos and is a newly completed addition to the archive with only 12 minutes of this show existing prior to this new recording. Solid show, but missing the closing segment.
(5:53:09) 05. 1999-11-15: The guest is Godsmack and is a newly (nearly) completed addition to the archive with a measly 10 minutes or so existing prior to this like the Bruno Campos show above. It's missing a few seconds where the tape flip is and is missing the end segment which means another abrupt satellite beep end. The band are fairly solid guests as well.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-05-28: The guest is Mackenzie Astin and is a new addition to the archive, but is missing the end and ends abruptly. After hearing Drew's recommendations for checking yourself for worms by putting tape on your ass and pulling it (and any potential worms) off with it, a caller does it and calls in with the results leading to some funny (disgusting) revelations about Adam's ass habits. Mackenzie is a decent guest and is a fan of the show, but is also disturbed and depressed by some of the things he hears both when he listens to the show and during this appearance.
(1:34:15) 02. 1997-12-17: The guest is Beth Broderick and is a brand new addition to the archive as is the next one and both are from late 1997. To give a little clarity, John Hiatt was in the week before this. In this week, Lords of Acid and David Johansen were in the previous two nights and next week, Alexandra Paul and Elise Neal are in. Beth is an average guest and leaves early, but overall a very solid show!
(3:06:23) 03. 1997-12-18: The guest is Caroline Rhea and is a brand new addition to the archive. This is also the day Chris Farley died. Caroline is a solid guest that contributes a fair amount to the show. She gets on well with Adam, cracks a few jokes herself and laughs a lot. This is an entertaining show! In the next volume, we'll get back to the 1998 shows.

(0:00:00) 01. 2001-11-20: The guest is Hoobastank. Caller drop origin for "Screw you, Drew!" as well.
(1:29:56) 02. 2001-11-21: The guest is David Alan Grier. DAG gets going with the gas in the form of a burp which the two hosts are impressed by. Great show as always with DAG.
**2001-11-22 (Best of Loveline) skipped until the end**
(3:05:04) 03. 2001-11-25: The guest is Kelly Monaco. She's quiet most of the time at first, but does talk more as the show goes on. Adam does go off about hospital gowns and having to give up his underpants for hand surgery. Discussion about shaving pubes. I never understood the argument they are making against it. If you see a mature, adult female who is shaved down there and all you can think of are prepubescent girls, I'd say that's a problem with you and no one else. It's so bizarre to me, I've never thought that when with a woman who was shaved. It's kind of shocking to me that anyone does think these things in that situation, same for men shaving. Absolutely bizarre to me.
