A demo of Flying Nightmares.
Although your piloting is completely automated, you can fire shots with your weapons. Very rarely does anything pop up you can actually target, though.
YouTube is telling me to tell people to join and become a member for reasons, so here's the link for that ~

Update March 1st: I'd like to add that the person who's released this prototype wants me to plug a new website! Check it out!

So, this previously-unreleased (in the US, anyhow) Super Nintendo game has been going around recently. For the sake of the people who don't want to have to go through this game to see it or to sort the differences between this and the Japanese version, I've recorded a play session here. Ken Striker, default (normal) difficulty setting.
The game, as you can tell from the videos going around, is ridiculously hard and at times feels luck-based. Good luck on the Nazi boss, should you dare get that far yourself.
Some differences between this and the Japanese version I spotted;
1) The locale of the game (and the map in the intro) was changed to California from Japan.
2) The intro is in English, of course.
3) The character names have all been changed.
4) The hot-blooded "JACK ON" audio snippets were changed to more monotone "Armor On" audio snippets. Probably the most disappointing change, if only because I find "JACK ON" to be hilarious.
5) "PLAYER DEAD" was changed to "PLAYER DEFEATED" when you lose a life.
The ROM will likely turn up in the No-Intro set sooner or later.
More info on Metal Jack (Well, the anime version, anyway!) is on Wikipedia:

You know, if these pages did not typically have a sound effect whenever you tried drawing, I would probably doodle something quick during them...

So, that laserdisc rip of the FE OVAs going around? I decided to try putting the English dub audio over them. (and doing a better job than the last time I tried this on a Japanese version rip. The old ones are gone now.)
Hopefully this makes for a superior-looking Fire Emblem OVA to older versions going around, which were mostly ripped from VHS sources.
So, if anyone here actually already grabbed the laserdisc rip torrent? The "readme" file, referring to the person who was apparently a hardcore enough FE fan to fund the ripping of this? That was me. I am still waiting to see if the ripper will do cover art scans. Episode 2's cover art is a neat Ogma vs. Navarre piece that I'm pretty certain is not used in non-Japanese releases.
(If anyone wants the source of the original laserdisc rip, feel free to ask privately.)

One of the nice quirks of this ROM not working right in emulation is that it helped me ripped this song, which Puto requested me to upload.

Yeah, I'm examining the big stuff.
So, I don't know how many caught up, but a Street Fighter II proto was in among them. At first glance, there weren't a lot of differences. But this difference? I felt it. I felt it hard.
It feels like some collision is different, and I kinda feel it in the car bonus stage. It's been aeons since I just failed it like this.

I can't seem to select the normal "1 player" mode in this, so this video only has some 1-player Free Play.

Okay, this one has the distinction of being requested twice by two different people, so I had to do it.
It seems to run pretty nicely on here. I don't really have a good reference for how the game originally sounded, but nothing sounds "Obviously wrong" from a casual observance.
FUN FACT: YouTube somehow, themselves, changed the auto-generated thumbnail so that it no longer has Artemis being all full frontal- er, I mean, front and center.
