The management of Mulago specialized women and neonatal hospital has failed to give accountability for 1.6 billion shillings spent on an activity that was implemented in financial year 2022/23 according to the auditor general’s report.
Members of the public accounts committee of parliament had held a meeting with the officials at the hospital premises to answer queries in the auditor general’s report were they also revealed that a dialysis machine procured at 640 million shillings that financial year has not been installed coupled with failure to repair the ICU machine.
