Ironing out Production Kinks : Medieval Dynasty
I feel like I can finally stop trying to optimize the hell out of every day. We have enough pawns to fill all the necessary rolls. They newbies are all starting to level up and soon we will hit the necessary level 5 for everyone. All we have to do is take up the slack for the women on maternity leave. The next 3-4 years should be very focsed.

Now that I know what is possible on those quests I'm going to need to be way more careful. Next time we stay outside and blast the walls down. Also I should have used berserk on the attacking tribals and maybe even an aero drone strike. Using a choke point and explosives you can obliterate enemy forces far greater and more dangerous than you. A quick and simple way to defend against some of the simpler raids.

Get the SPOM up and running, almost let the Hydrogen back up again. Redo the bedrooms and great halls. Rip out the oxyferns and make a new CO2 pit along with increased power production. All and all this game is moving along at speed. Next up I'm thinking atmo suits and demolishing half the map.

The threats we can take on now feel a long way from where we were, I mean Medusa just soloed an adult Crab. They can also solo a spider. Don't get me wrong their are bigger crabs to fry out there but for now we can handle most mid range threats. Feels good, time to build a base and see what fresh horrors the game throws at us.

Well that was a bit painful, I don't think I would be playing so risky if we were on 500% difficulty. Loosing is fun feels so much easier than the first time I tried it. We are getting all our research and basic building squared away. A fridge, Kitchen, dining hall and some mech tech. Give it another 20 cycles and I think we will have a place for everyone and everyone in their place.

It's all about the money in Starsector. It reminds me a lot of X3, Escape Velocity and with a sprinkling of Master of Orion 2. I have found that combat is not nearly as profitable as just trading on the black market or rooting through dead civilizations trash. A couple of specialized fleets allows you achieve both goals cheaply and efficiently.
Now I have to stop playing the damm thing, I have some ONI episodes I should have made weeks ago.
