In this film based on the William Gibson story, Johnny (Keanu Reeves) is a data courier who has a secret stash of information implanted into his mind. However, the data will kill Johnny if he cannot retrieve it within 48 hours. Accompanied by physically enhanced bodyguard Jane (Dina Meyer), Johnny sets out to acquire the passwords he needs to save himself. Worse yet, he is hunted by gangster Shinji (Denis Akiyama) and businessman Takahashi (Takeshi), both of whom seek the data Johnny possesses.

In this movie review/podcast they will talk about all the things that make the second Power Rangers movie dumb. Like the weird Car theme team for a movie that mostly takes place on the water, the weird troll wizard that looks more horrifying than the bad guys, and how the morphing and the powers for the rangers makes no sense.

In this movie review/podcast they will talk about all the things that make it a good remake. It takes the basic idea from the original, reworks the plot to make it stand apart, and gives a new backstory to the films antagonist.
It sounds like just another urban legend — a videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call foretelling the viewer’s death in exactly seven days. Newspaper reporter Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) is skeptical of the story until four teenagers all die mysteriously exactly one week after watching just such a tape. Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Rachel tracks down the video and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery.
