Daddy loved a dancer
Though she never gave an answer
He used to follow her all about
Still, she couldn't shake him
She didn't seem to make her mind up
'Til he took her to the waterspout
Love comes in, love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Whoa, whoa, whoa
Love comes in, love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Woody wouldn't do it
But they said that he never blew it
He didn't know what was hanging out
'Til he got an answer
Out of daddy's dancer
When she took him to the waterspout
She said love comes in, love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Whoa, whoa, whoa
Love comes in, love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Only love can get you at it and in a minute
You will find yourself swimming in it
Only love can catch you up today
And take your breath away
Makes you wanna say what you're thinking of
It's only love down at the bottom
Down at the bottom of the waterspout
Love comes in, love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Daddy couldn't stand it
Said Woody was a bad bandit
And they were knocking each other out
'Til the little dancer
Came up with another answer
She took them to the waterspout
Said love comes in, she said love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Whoa, whoa, whoa
Love comes in, yeah love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Only love can get you out of town in a minute
You will find yourself swimming in it
Only love can take your breath away
And can catch you up today
Makes you wanna say what you're thinking of
Only love down at the bottom
Down at the bottom of the waterspout
Only love
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout
Well love comes in, she said love comes out
Down at the bottom, down at the bottom of the waterspout
Whoa, whoa, whoa love comes out
At the bottom, at the bottom of the waterspout...
Makes you wanna do what you're thinking of
Only love down at the bottom
Down at the bottom of the waterspout

Track 7 of Paul McCartney's Missing Singles Collection (1972-1985). Features rare singles, and shortened versions of singles. This version of the album was originally taken from an analog source
The first version of this song is the basic track which was recorded during the RAM recording sessions in late 1970. In July 1978, the song was reworked for the unreleased "Rupert" soundtrack.
Paul is able to compose rock music, pop music, bossa nova, jazz, classical music and oratorios, folk, country folk, soul, traditional, funk, britpop, hard rock, cold wave, rockabilly, children's contines, 40's american styles, progressive, latin sounds, electro, dance, and so... and he does all well! Plus his talents as a musical director and producer, plus the all-kind-of lyrics he writes and his natural singing ability, his incredible and versatile voice (the Man of a Thousand Voices) and the fact that he's a self taught musician that never knew how to read or write music notation, he didn't need it! Had everything in his genius mind! Finally, who is able to say how many musical instruments he masters perfectly? There are so many, beyond the bass guitar, guitar, keyboards! All this with a nice personality, "behaving always perfect" (said by Jhon Lennon).
Paul McCartney is an authentic genius!
