We make it to Rose Town and learn that everyone is being troubled with raining arrows. Mallow gets himself a new jacket which he forgets to wear and we learn just how dangerous the denizens of the Forest Maze really are. Better bring some wits with you to this place, it's not figuring your way around being the problem anymore, you'll physically have to be dodging death with each fight possibly. Also, the specifics of the hack: - Characters can go level up to Level 50 - All bosses and enemies' battle scripts changed - Character stats changed around and balanced - Spells reworked with more appropriate names and different stats, balanced as well - All Enemy stats changed - Battle Messages before using specials have been removed. - Dialogue changes (Mostly in-battle, but some out-of-battle as well) - New enemies and enemy name changes - Well-balanced difficulty curve - Timing for Weapons, defense and spells changed (tightened) considerably - A few new enemy attacks and spells - Some rebalanced and new equipment/items. If a boss seems too easy at first, you might want to rewind yourself and make sure you're not falling into a trap here. Afanc is that example. The beginning just make sure to break the Raystones while you're able to think about it. Save your Rogress power though, you'll know when to use it. The boss' big attacks are Hydro Pillar, it definitely has a group-like focus to it and it HURTS. Be sure to defend when you hear a warning from your characters. Acid Arm and Acid Mail are his debuffing attack and defense moves respectively. And he will pelt you with Level 2 Water Magic, which sucks. Also, the boss has the dreaded Auto-Defense, so expect it to damper on your damage. Keep your HP up, pelt this guy with Fire spells, Simmah, and your Excel Acts and you'll pull through.
