I am thrilled to have obtained a copy of this video which has been taken down all over the net. I have always admired Geoff but when I saw this design I realized he was not just a Permaculture but perhaps the most gifted designer we have today. If there is such a thing as a Permaculture Jedi, Geoff Lawton gets that title.

In the 1930s the CCC was formed and engaged in public works all across the US in response to the great depression. One project in the Arizona installed swales that are now 80 years old. Geoff takes you though some of them and shows the amazing power of earthworks in this video.
