Challenge is to fly a 3 part rocket and visit every terrestrial planet in the Kerbin System. The vehicle can refuel using other ships, but can't use their propulsion, so I've staged a bunch of refueling spaceships in deep space. I'm doing this live so we start on Kerbin, refuel, visit Minmus, Mun, Refuel, then land on Ike.

Continuing the 'from scratch' series I demonstrate how to go bounty hunting in the beginners spacecraft by finding targets at a navpoint and then dealing with them. Trying this as a new player is a good way to learn to fly and possibly make some money with no risk of losing an expensive ship.

I've been running aircraft design competitions using Kerbal Space Program with the BD Armory mod to add weapons. Each round players build aircraft according to the rules and when the time comes they assemble to do battle. The rules are intended to push the designers out of their box and come up with aircraft that look good and perform well under simulated combat conditions.
Thanks to Bart for the logo and Arc for help with video editing, and of course all the participants who developed aircraft.

Unperturbed by the minor chair animation bug* I forge on ahead with the story as it teaches me about buying and selling commodities using the Rahanas as a transporter.
Compared to the old trading system this is a lot more involved, some might say 'tedious'. I'm not sure that the drive for immersion is making for a better game.
Easily fixed by pressing return-5-5 while in space to go to the back then use the door controls to return to the cockpit.

On the timescale of hundreds of millions of years the sun is increasing in luminosity, and may one day render the Earth uninhabitable. Is it possible to envisage a way to move the entire planet further from the Sun to prevent this fate?

Obsidian Orbital may be a science station on the edge of known space, but apparently someone there is willing to pay big bucks for unscrupulous pilots to ferry slaves back to known space.
For all I know this could be some alien infiltration scheme, but the money is good..... very good.

With new planets officially coming in Kerbal Space Program 0.17 I'm starting to develop the rocket designs which will let me explore strange new worlds. One of the things I need to develop is a heavy lander capable of landing from orbit and then returning the crew to orbit after an excursion on the surface.

I know I already sent a rocket into deep space without actually getting one into orbit, so here's my solution to orbiting an unguided rocket around kerbin for over a year.

The challenge was to merge all the important parts of 4 different vessels named Enterprise into one awesome vessel. Based on a sketch by GregorxMun this was an amazing build.
