Michelangelo with Mozart, Renoir with Chopin, Gainsborough with Mendelssohn, Raphael with Bach, Da Vinci with Beethoven, Degas with Tchaikovsky, etc. Over 50 pairings of great music & great painting (and sculpture). Used on the children's free reading/phonics site ReadingBear.org. Sound files sponsored by the Community Foundation of NW Mississippi.
Use this video to introduce your kids (and yourself) to some of the greatest works of art, visual and musical. My little boys, 4 years and 6 months, both love it!
This combines all six parts into a single video, 19 minutes long.
Note, newer art and music is omitted due to copyright concerns, or else there would be a lot of modern material. CFNM actually purchased the rights for the music tracks for Reading Bear.
