1927 Germany Description BORIS KONSTANTINOVITCH BILINSKY (1900-1948) METROPOLIS / FILMSTAR EDITION 17. November 1, 1927. 11x7 1/2 inches, 28x19 cm. The French Metropolis Press Book (itself designed by Bilinsky) cites four different posters designed by the artist for the French release of the film. This magazine was issued concurrently in at least two different languages (French and Dutch) when the film was released in Belgium and Holland. The image originally appeared in the Press Book, although this is a mirror image. This is the Dutch version. rare.
