On this route, as one of the two heterosexual characters on the ship, you can get her to reciprocate your feelings. Just pop in the code, and instead of having to waste your time with a futile game, you can rescue your princess... ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BPDqY4pz1M
And here we have the grand finale, where I take on the Elite Four and then screw around with a Mega Stone afterward. Overall, I am not interested in capturing any of the legendaries since the capture system sucks here. Additionally, I don't care to bother with any of the special trainers as I do not want to grind with all sorts of weird pokemon.
Basically, it was a nice trip down memory lane, but it just had too many weird/rough spots. I like being able to see pokemon on the map, but I do not care for the capture system here. Trainer battles were not as rewarding as just capturing stuff, and the post-game is almost non-existent. If the devs can fix some of these in a future game, I may be willing to give it a try, but this fulfills the request I received for a Nintendo-made game and a Pokemon game.
Lastly, there is a minute of muted audio after the Lance battle due to copyright flags. It is a little annoying how random some of these can be, but with this being the final video, I can just put it behind me.

In order to regroup with Bethel, we needed to make our way to the Diet Building. We've cut through most of the obstacles between us and them, but there are a few holdouts. There are a pair of sidequests I did here: Oni and Shiki-Ouji, but I am only giving Oni a video as I didn't bother recording collecting the Shikigami. Both of them are physical resistant, but they have magic weaknesses that you can exploit.
Once those are done, there are a pair of story bosses for us to tackle: Eligor and Nuwa, who are getting their own videos. I imagine Nuwa is the next boss to give players trouble as she is intended to be much more powerful than anything we have. The main thing is to have wind protection. I was not aware at the time that we only needed to get her down to half, but it does make things a little easier.

For this Daydream, we get to spend some time with Machias and Dudley. There is largely just reading to this, but the important thing is that there is a recipe to be had, so if you want the cooking achievement, this is one of the more important Daydreams to do.

And we kick things off with one of the missions that make Eagle endearing to his fans. There is a need to destroy an enemy fortress, but realizing the body count such a plan would create, Eagle hesitates. Rallied by his subordinates, he leads the strike.
We have a fixed number of units here, and this is one of the fights that really highlights the difference in the AI between the original version and here. On GBA, Hawke would never hesitate to fire off his power, but here he will hold onto it unless he has troops that need healing. As a result, we make sure to wipe out the initial wave, get into position, and bring everything to a swift close with Eagle's super. Blowing up some of the defenders during the super makes sure I achieve the power goal and we bring this mission to a swift close and succeed in alleviating Eagle's greatest fear.

This is probably the most lackluster of the endings to be honest. It doesn't differentiate itself from H in any significant way. The main takeaway is that the genocide doesn't happen. I'm not entirely convinced that this and the H ending were thrown together at the last minute.

Natural formations for defense is a theme in today's videos, this time with Sami taking on Lash in a series of mountain valleys. The bottlenecks here are tight, so you have Sami's infantry flying over mountains while her indirects shell anything unlucky enough to be caught out. Lash does become practically invincible during her super, so try to pay attention when it hits. Just be aware that both of her powers give her mobility boosts, so her infantry can come flying through the mountains too.
Ultimately, the map is not too difficult, but it does take time to traverse. Just make sure you have APCs to supply your indirects and you can set up a firing line that steadily advances to victory.

For our final video, I will read out the secret reports so you can see what the previous set of videos were for. This is meant to give you some insight into the inner workings and happenings behind the scenes that you can't see from Neku's perspective. They are written by Hanekoma and he will break down motives and other things that look like extreme coincidences or happenstance, and you will be able to see the forces at work.
I was hoping for more to tie into the upcoming game, and in the end I am pleasantly disappointed. After how bad the extra days were, my expectations going into this were abysmal, and I kind of saw this coming. What I did find interesting is that the Fallen Angel reveal report was still arranged to be last. I wonder how many people saw that coming...

After having to take the scenic route to get to our destination, I finally reach the shrine everyone has been talking about and receive their charm against fire. With that in hand, we are able to move through Surt's barrier and take him on, freeing the route for the remainder of our forces. The next step will be making our approach on the enemy stronghold.
