My MacBok Pro needed the hard drive flex cable replacing, the first replacement cable was faulty, so I had to replace it twice !

I installed a new 500GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD, I was going to use a spare 120GB one (as shown in the last video on this computer), but after using it for a little while I realised that I needed more storage space than that.

Whilst I was working on it I noticed the CPU and GPU areas of the board were getting very hot, and yet there wasn't a lot of heat coming out of the exhaust from the heatsink, so I pulling the heat pipe off the PCB and replaced the old dried out thermal compound which seemed to be causing the inefficient cooling.

When pulling into a popular carpark which is also used for freedom camping, we noticed a hedgehog walking backwards trying to get a McDonalds cup off its head, Diana jumped out and rescued the hedgehog from the cup, unfortunately it is just below the camera shot for much of the footage, Diana did walk back over and throw the rubbish in the bin after we parked up. If we had not been freedom camping that night the poor hedgehog might of perished, likely from some teenagers parked in a car throwing their rubbish out the window, there is a bin there !
