Anya's Bio Recipient of the 2019 Australian Blockchain Leader of the Year. Anya works as Power Ledger’s Crypto Economist where she is responsible for fostering global partnerships. Anya has presented at premier blockchain and energy conferences, including Consensus in New York, Event Horizon in Berlin and World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi. Prior to Power Ledger, Anya held a variety of commercial roles within the resources sector (Shell, Rio Tinto), working internationally in the USA, Russia and Australia, as well as running an accelerator program for early stage resource focused startups.
In this presentation, Algorand Foundation's Developer Ambassador, Vincenzo Alaia, will show you how Algorand's tools can be used to create your first non-fungible asset (or second or 10th, if you've been using a different protocol). Vince starts with the basics following with a demo that brings this technology to life.

Vanessa walks between Indigenous and non-Indigenous worlds strategically connecting cultures to economically empower indigenous communities globally, and as a means to reduce suicides. Associate Professor Lee-Ah Mat is a founding member of the Indigenous data sovereignty network focusing on Indigenous governance and sovereignty and is currently working with the Government to develop an Indigenous governance policy framework. In 2021, Dr. Lee-Ah Mat received the Griffith University First People’s, health Alumnus Award for her international leadership in cultural governance and social policy contribution. As the Chair of Walking Between Worlds, Vanessa brings her cultural governance experience and expertise to the blockchain world to energise Indigenous communities globally through NFTs.

Self managed superannuation is a topic that is casually discussed at most meetups. In this deep dive, we will hear from three leading service providers in Australia, Sequoia Superannuation, Bamboo and Independent Reserve. They will cover the basics of setting up a self-managed super, what are the requirements to hold crypto in your super and how to go about it.
