It's time. I think MercTech has reached a level of maturity and stability that allows for a reasonable attempt at a play-through. I've wanted to play the base campaign and into the Kestrel Lancers as one long series for a while now and I've been experimenting with various mod packs. I've settled on a reasonably "pure" run with MercTech. I've added 330's PIlot Overhaul for MT for the role playing aspect with our pilots; Prime 8's Botanical Splendor for a little more visual pop in the missions; Glitch Inspector's Camo Spec (YAML release) to add some fun in achieving the look we are want with our mechs; and finally I've added G3n.Zer0's Expanded Logos Seaphi pack for an appropriate unit logo. MercTech does require or suggest some support mods (MercTech Compatability Pack, Mech Bundle, MW5 Compatability Pack, and the Community Asset Bundle). All of these support mods are linked on the MercTech nexus page which can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/48
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a first or third person shooter/simulator set in the Battletech Universe in which you manage a mercenary company attempting to survive in the Inner Sphere. There are two campaigns in the game. The first of which comes with the base game and a second which was added in the Legend of the Kestrel Lancers DLC. As the commander of the company you will move your mercs through the systems of the Inner Sphere to take accept contracts for the various factions. You will need to balance the finances of the company while also running one of the giant robotic battlemechs in missions, hire new pilots, and acquire new mechs and equipment so that your company can grow and thrive amongst the war torn future.

MechWarrior 5: Mercencaries is a real-time combat, battlemech simulator with rpg elements based on the Battletech tabletop franchise. At the time of writing this (9 aug 2020) the game is still an epic exclusive although a steam launch is in the near future.
The game itself supports modding with the developers making the entire Unreal Engine tool kit available for modders. The Epic store now also supports modding and while most MechWarrior mods are still on NexusMods.com there are a handfull available on the Epic store. We are playing with Merc Tech game overhaul which is availble on Epic and NexusMods.
Merc Tech includes a Mechlab that allows changing engines, cooling, internal structure, armor, and gyros. It has a full crit system, different ammo and firing mods, as well as additional weapon variation. One of my favorite additions from the mod is heat effects including slowing the mech down, shutdowns, and ammo explosions for you and the AI alike.
I plan on this being a longish term playthrough of the game (more than one month) released Mon-Fri. I will be avoiding story missions and skipping through story dialogue while treating the game as a sandbox career mode.

On a rimworld on the very edge of known space a small war withing a system leads to unrestricted biological warfare leaving the primary planet over run with zombies. Their bite is not contagious but they still want brains. A small group of Mandalorions have decided to test themselves against the zombie hordes. Their mission is to survive on the planet and hopefully, return from it with their brains still enclosed in their heads.
This is a heavily mod'd version of Rimworld utilizing Star Wars mods by Jecrell and the Zombieland mod by Pardeike.

Football Manager 2019 | 1FC Kaiserslautern : From the Ashes - Episode 22 | Mellowseven Let's Play
1FC Kaiserslautern is on the brink of dissolving. Rising expenses incurred with a stadium renovation for the World Cup have made it increasingly difficult for the team to compete. According to Forbes magazine if the team misses out on promotion to the 2nd league of German football this year they might fold.
We managed to hang on to our spot in Zwei Liga. With a fresh offseaon behind us, have we done enough to climb up into the lofty ranks of the Bundesliga? Is promotion in our future? Even hanging on to a spot here will help our finances out but we really need to make occasional leaps into the top league to secure our financial future. Let's Play.

In this episode I want to experiment with Unit Commands. Can you mitigate AI problems with timely use of commands? Can unit commands help with correct positioning of support Mechs (piloted by you or the the AI)? Let's take a basic first look at the Unit Command functionality.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a first person / sim game based on the Battletech tabletop universe. At launch it will include a campaign mode as well as solo and co-op instant action scenarios and custom scenarios. Modding will be supported. It is a fast paced, entertaining window into the Battletech universe from the makers of Mech Warrior Online. As I type this, it is in closed Beta accessible to pre-orders. It launches on Dec 10, 2019 and is available on the Epic Games Store.

Slyxen wanted a save with the Rim of Madness Vampire and Werewolf mods from Jecrel. We have tried both in the past, but got only a taste of the werewolves and didn't see a single vampire. So this time we are starting with a vampire next to a werewolf village. Hopefully this will give us a bit more of a feel for these excellent mods by Jecrel. By the way Jecrel, if you see this... Opening a coffin should be a flick job rather than a hauling job. Not sure if that is possible or not, but that's my two cents. :)
