[WC2] Birds of Prey (c) vs. Bubblegum Crisis (WWA World Tag Team Championship)
Starting off night two here at Waifus Collide II, another entry in the friendly rivalry between the defending champions, the Birds of Prey and oncoming challengers, Bubblegum Crisis.
Having previously met on three occasions, it is Andi Kestrel and Robyn McDaid, the Birds of Prey, who hold the 2-1 lead heading into this championship contest, including their most recent championship win, where they claimed the titles they now defend. A win here tonight will tie the Birds of Prey with the all-time record of defences in the Waifu Wrestling Alliance, and write their names into the history books as one of the most dominant tag teams of all time.
Conversely, the Bubblegum Crisis sisters of Candy and Lollypop are former tag team champions in their own right, having won the gold from the Birds of Prey in a ladder match on the night of the B1 Climax 23 finals, becoming the only team to defeat the Birds of Prey in two-on-two competition. The Bubblegum Crisis girls find themselves in this championship match tonight having fended off the fast-charging duo the Widowmaker Society in their signature Sugar Tornado match, but tags will be enforced in this championship setting here tonight.

All three of these competitors faced each other in the B Block of the B1 Climax Tournament, with Ciel du Grenouille earning a victory over Kuro Noire II in their meeting on Day 10, and LILLITH went to a time limit draw with both opponents: Noire on Night 12, Ciel on Night 16. At a press conference at the conclusion of the B Block, LILLITH noted that she had not fought to a decisive finish over 'FLIP GIRL' or 'SMALL SECRET GIRL' and expressed a desire to take them both on in one match. It has been months since Sapphire, known to her friends and family as Jennifer Emilia, had her life cut short in a mysterious explosion. Since that time, it is said that she's lingered as a restless spirit, unable to move on until she was properly laid to rest. However, when given a proper funeral recently in the Emilia Estates, her remains laid to rest along with her Rulebreaker Championship, the unthinkable happened. The mimic known as Mimi Cue had taken the shape of Jennifer's casket, and proceeded to devour her corpse and abscond with her Rulebreaker Championship. In response, Jennifer or Sapphire, now and henceforth known by the name of Spirit, called for an interview with Hugh Mann, and in one of the most profanity-laden, emotional, and plain-spoken statements ever given on WWA programming, laid out a challenge to Mimi Cue for a No Rules, No Time Limit, Falls Count Anywhere Match for the Rulebreaker Championship, utilizing a magical device known as a "spirit lantern" to become physically solid for the match. Will Spirit be able to defeat Mimi Cue and defend and reclaim her Rulebreaker Championship, or will Mimi Cue's voracious appetite extend to a victory in this contest as well? Will this match bring peace to Spirit's troubled afterlife, or is the chaos only beginning? And what form can Mimi Cue be expected to assume for this contest? Though a relative unknown before the B1 Climax 23 begun, Ceil du Grenouille [8 points] enters this match tonight only one win away from taking the entire B Block. The road to victory for her opponent, LILLITH [7 points] is slightly more complicated, and will require more dominoes to fall in place by those outside of her control. Though a loss or draw will not immediately eliminate Ciel from competition, the same is no true for her opposition tonight, who must win outright to remain alive. This is an intriguing first time match up, and it comes at the tail end of a huge B1 Climax tournament. Only one of these women will advance, and it's time to find out who!

Just over one week removed from their instant classic first time meeting, Sola Fire and Amy Flame will run it back in our main event of Cupid's Chokehold. Things have become incredibly personal between these former best friends turned bitter, brutal rivals, but each have vowed to end this for good tonight.
For Sola Fire, a second win in two matches would be all the proof she needs that Amy Flame is simply not on her level; be it back in training at the Dojo, or all of the issues the two went through together in the early days in opposition to The Divine Angels... until Amy Flame joined that team. Fire has gone on record as saying that while the injury to Flame's eye was an accident, she does not apologise, and will simply do whatever she has to do to ensure a second victory over the Immaculate Ace.
Conversely, Amy Flame believes this is all the unfounded opinion of a scorned friend, or perhaps more than friend. The way things were in the past does not mean they must stay that way in the future, and putting Sola Fire down tonight is the future that Amy Flame is looking towards. Any friendship shared between these similarly named opponents is out the window, and for Flame there is only one thing on her mind: revenge for a heinous injury inflicted by someone who should have known better.
Will Sola Fire come out 2-0 against an incredibly personal rival? Or will Amy Flame prove just how she had carved her own path through the Waifu Wrestling Alliance? Who will tame the inferno that rages between these two broken hearts?
