September 10 2023 MANHATTAN, New York - Fights and Arrests between pro- and anti-trans activists outside of Comic Strip Live in NYC where Gays Against Groomers is holding a fundraiser on the Upper East Side's 2nd Ave.
According to a flyer handed out by the counter-protesters, the event was hosted by Mom's for Liberty and Supporters of the social media channel "Libs of Tiktok."
A group counter protested Gays Against Groomers, who are described as an "anti-LGBTQ+ extremist coalition" by the ADL.

August 9 2020 - MANHATTAN, New York: The Guardian Angel’s patrolled the Upper West Side following a NY Post article. “The cops are not responding now at all,” said Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, “so we are trying to fill the void. We take care of the people in the neighborhood, but also make sure that especially emotionally disturbed men are not taken advantage of.”
Some people thanked them, some were concerned. "Are you here to protect us? And the residents of this hotel?" One woman asked Guardian Angels who were patrolling Upper West Side following an explosive NY post article. “If you can migrate into communities of color, then people of color should be able to migrate into your community.”
Tensions have been high as some residents expressed concern with homeless moving into the UWS hotels.
Some Upper West Side locals drew messages of welcome outside the Lucerne Hotel and Belleclaire Hotel, "Make America Care Again" and "welcome to the neighborhood" read some of the messages on the sidewalk in bright colored chalk letters.

9-year-old-boy-killed-in-far-rockaway
July 11 2021 Queens, New York – A 9-year-old boy was killed in a fire that burned through a Queens home, early Sunday morning.
Fire started around 6:30 a.m. inside the multi-family home at 69-37 Hillmeyer Avenue in Far Rockaway, police say.
9-year-old victim was taken to St. John’s Hospital in critical condition, and pronounced dead around 8:45 a.m., according to police.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed at this time.
According to NY Post, Fire officials found at least 20 votive candles in the home, along with crates of live animals, life-sized dolls and other items.

In recent days, the bar owner announced that everything will be free and they will be accepting donations.
Tonight, a small crowd of people gathered to protest outside.

December 29 2022 QUEENS, New York - Protesters groups gathered along with Proud Boys to face off Drag Queen Story Hour supporters at event held at Jacksonville Queens Public Library in New York City.
Drag Story Hour, an event where drag queen read books to children, usually at public libraries, was held this Thursday afternoon at 4pm at the Jackson Heights Library, in Queens.
The event drew at least 150 supporters of the event, who stood in front of the entrance as protesters gathered outside.
The groups that gathered to protest, claim that Drag Story Hour events 'grooms children'
Multiple city officials, including NYC Mayor have called such the demonstrators 'homophobic' and 'transphobic' and called against 'LGBTQ hate'.
A man, who appears to have been accompanied and filmed by Jovi Val, was seen throwing a 'Nazi Salute' outside of NYC Drag Queen Story Hour event. Tarp And Busses - Rockefeller Tree Lighting
December 1 2021 Manhattan, New York - a large crowd gathered just outside the Rockafeller Tree lighting, tree once again blocked by bus and trash bags.
As the tree lit up everyone tried to get a glimpse, eventually NYPD officers moved the tarp so people could get a shot, another person working with the NYPD took people's phones to get a picture for them from the top of the NYPD truck.
