Mutant League Hockey is a sports game developed by Mutant Productions, Abalone and New Wave Graphics and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in North America, Europe, South America and Australia.
Mutant League Hockey is the sequel to Mutant League Football. Another game, Mutant LEague basketball, is advertised in the game, but was never released. There is also a TV series spin-off called Mutant League to both games.
Mutant League Hockey is unsurprisingly an ice hockey game. Instead of human teams, the game feature comedic horror teams consisting of monsters, robots and other creatures. While the basic concept and rules of ice hockey are maintained, the game adds comedic violence and various chaotic features. There are mines and pits hidden under the ice, and you can literally tear and smash opposing players to pieces. During breaks, you can choose to pick some nasty moves, like bribing the referee or beating up the other team's goalkeeper.
Monster World IV is an action-adventure developed by Westone and published by Sega. It is the sixth instalment in the Wonder Boy/ Monster World series. The game was only released in Japan. As far as I know, Sega had no interest in an international release, since they thought Mega Drive/Genesis would not be needed as the Saturn was about to be released. A fan translation to English was made later, and it was actually picked up and released commercially when to the game was brought to the Virtual Console of the Wii and to the PS3.
You control Asha, the girlfriend of Shion, the hero of the previous game. One day, Asha is standing on a cliff near her home village, and suddenly heard a mysterious voice calling for help. She decides to leave the village and to embark on an adventure to discover the identity of this mysterious person.
The game is an action-adventure similar to Metroidvania games. It has some RPG elements since you can improve your character by finding better equipment and extended the health bar by collecting droplets.
Cleaning out my castle...
Dark Sun - Shattered Lands is an RPG developed and published by SSI.
Apparently, Data East was working on ports of the game for Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation, but both ports got cancelled.
The game is based on the Dark Sun campaign setting for AD& D. It takes place on the fantasy world of Athas. Athas was once peaceful and pleasant - until wizards found a way to increase their power by draining the planet's energy. The let to plant life dying, seas evaporating, the sun transforming into a crimson fireball, and Athas becoming a desert world. The wizards then gained control over the land, becoming sorcerer-kings and enslaving most of the population. One of such kings, Tectuktitlay, rules the city-state of Draj. By his orders, hundreds of slaves are sent to a battle arena to find monsters. You take control of a party of four who have also been imprisoned and sent to fight in the arena. Your initial goal is, of course, to escape. However, you learn that Tectuktitlay plans to raise an army in order crush the few remaining independent villages out side the city states. So you need to find a way to bring the villages to unite to be able to fend of the army of Draj.
The game is played from a top-down view. You move only the party leader when you're not in combat. Combat is turn-based and uses the same view. Dark Sun follows the AD&D rules regarding stats, fights, magic etc. You can talk to people via multiple choice dialogues. You often have the option to tasks and conflict in several ways, violently or not violently. The game allows you to create your own party, but there is pre-made party available for a quickstart.
Finally on the surface, making out way to ARM.
The game is a sequel to Tsunami's first adventure, Ringworld - Revenge of the Patriarch. Both games are based on the Ringworld novels by Larry Niven.
The story continues right after the vents of the first game. The heroes from the first game - Quinn, Miranda and the Kzin "Seeker of Vengeance", have destroyed the ship the Patriarch of the Kzin had sent to destroy the Fleet of Worlds of the Puppeteers. While they were able to leave Ringworld alive, the Patriarch has put a price on their head, so they see no other option as to go back to Ringworld in order to hide.
Unlike the first game, where you only played as Quinn, you control all three characters, and you can switch between them via menu.
Battle Out Run is a racing game developed and published by Sega. It was only released in Europe, Australia and Brazil.
Battle Out Run is very similar to Taito's Chase H.Q. You drive along a route and need to catch up and arrest a criminal. Once you have caught up with the target, you have to ram into his car until his life gauge is depleted, which immobilizes his car. You have a time limit to catch the criminal. If you catch the target in time, you get a reward. There are many other cars on the road. While you cannot crash your car, bumping into them will cost you speed and hence time. There are also obstacles or puddles of oil on the route sometimes, as well as ramps which will make you jump (this saves you some time and avoids collision).
Once each level you can upgrade your car to improve acceleration, speed, "attack" etc. You pay for the improvements with the money you have earned. You can buy nitro to make you car faster, but the nitro will be consumed and you have to buy it again next level.
