For seasoning
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tbspn
Dried red chillies - 2
Method
First ,keep the cooker in the stove and add 1/2 tbspn of cooking oil.Once the oilis hot,add fennel seeds and red chillies.
Then add chopped onion to the cooker and saute it for 5 seconds and add chicken to it and saute it well until the water
from chicken get evaporated.
Then add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder to it and saute it until the raw smell goes.
Then add Chicken masala (If there is no chicken masala get chicken kabab masala from shop and the same quantity as i said),
red chilli powder and coriander powder to it and saute it well until its raw smell goes and oil gets released from it.
Then add chopped tomatoes and required salt for kuruma to it and saute it and add 1 cup of water to and boil it in medium flame
until the tomatoes get cooked.
In the side ,prepare coconut paste for this kuruma.In a mixie jar add coconut and fennel seeds to it and grind into a fine paste
Then add the paste to the cooker when the tomatoes are cooked.
Let the kuruma gets boiled for 7 minutes in medium flame and switch off the burner.
Now the tasty Chettinad chicken kuruma is ready.
