The Tarot Reader attempts to gain insight into the past, present or future by formulating a question, then drawing and interpreting cards. The cards are the mystical tool by which the reader accesses the absolute knowledge within her unconscious.” A surreal short film inspired in part by the television series ‘Penny Dreadful’ and exploring effects and techniques previously utilised in my photography work transposed to film.
