This is one of the Science and Society topics in the Math Without Borders Home Study Companion Physics course (a rigorous, algebra-trig-based physics course for high school or introductory college level course work). At this point in the course the students will have studied electric forces, fields, and potentials, just before studying electric current. See http://mathwithoutborders.com.
