Exposition of the Orthodox Faith: Nature of God, Holy Trinity, Divine Energies
As we are back to high effort powerpoint video presentations, in this video I give a review of St. John of Damascus' Book I on the Exposition of the Orthodox Faith. St. John of Damascus is one of the most significant Church Fathers, and his writings on the Orthodox faith is treated as a systematic theology book par excellence, he is highly revered both east and west and his life is inspiring, for the life of St. John of Damascus, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnCPQsjl1k4
In Book I, St. John mostly talks about the nature of God, the Holy Trinity and essence energies distinction. The essence energies distinction in particular is a key aspect of St. John's theology as this video shows. I also talk about the filioque since St. John's theology strongly rejects the filioque and in fact openly advocates for what we Orthodox call "the energetic procession" of the Holy Spirit from the Father through the Son, which is not to be confused with the filioque, since the energetic procession of the Holy Spirit does not speak of the Holy Spirit being caused by the Son as the Roman Catholic dogma teaches (See Council of Florence Session 6) but that the Holy Spirit in God's energetic activities both ad intra and ad extra proceed from the Father through the Son.

Praying to Saints is Christian and Biblical, and all Christians should do it. This video explains the logic, philosophy, and biblical principles behind praying to Saints and the Orthodox arguments surrounding it.
Many Protestants criticize praying to Saints, their main arguments are:
Praying to Saints is idolatry
Saints are dead
Just pray to God
Saints can't hear your prayers
And other such arguments, all of which are explained very clearly in this video.
The Orthodox Christian practice is also part of traditional and historical Christianity, but this video does not cover that aspect mainly because it's already very clearly there by the time of the 4th century and traces of it is evident starting from the time of the apostles and their students (See martyrdom of St. Polycarp for instance).
Although Roman Catholics and even Orientals believe in this practice as well, the theological explanation behind it due to the essence energy distinction is not present within those heresies, which is why praying to saints as an act of recognizing God's glory and grace in them is unique to Orthodoxy, since in Orthodoxy we believe that we partake of God's energies without mediation (and if there's such a mediation to speak of, it is the Word of God Himself, and not a separate uniquely created mediation).

Trinitarianism at face value is a difficult belief to understand and justify, but as Orthodox Christians who have the advantage of the Church Fathers and their argumentation, we can not only explain what the doctrine of the Trinity coherently is, but also go as far as to say that it is more coherent, consistent and logical than other forms of "monotheism".

This video presents the main argument against the Filioque by Orthodox Christianity and why it is unacceptable in Orthodox Trinitarian Theology as explicated by the 2nd Ecumenical Council is demonstrated in this video by the usage of scriptural passages and patristic quotes that showcase the Trinitarian doctrine of the unchanged Orthodox Church that was established by Jesus Christ.
Unlike what the Roman Catholic Church today believes, the Filioque does in fact present a completely different view on the Trinity and is much more than just a word that is added to the Nicene-Constantinople Creed.

Michael Lofton aka Michael LOLCOW who is establishing himself as a TikTok youtube superstar of low-quality content claims that Roman Catholics do not worship the physical heart of Jesus. This video refutes that claim by showing Dogmatic documents from Roman Catholicism such as Haurietis Aquas where the worship of Christ's physical heart is not only explicitly mentioned, it is strongly endorsed and argued in a way that that is the only way to have any proper Sacred Heart symbolism at all!
No Reason and Zero Theology has been dragging down the level of apologetics for a very long time by consistently lying, misrepresenting, and making bad arguments which illustrates that they not only have good faith towards others, but also zero faith towards God. The fact that an Orthodox Christian has to correct a "Roman Catholic Apologist" on what their own doctrines are is enough to prove that these people do not know what they are talking about, and no one serious would want to waste time on them.
