After the song was over I was visited by another guitar busker and we had a conversation about this loser. I also told some stories of previous violent encounters with psychos. I played this a lot. Always improvised. Local restaurant guy offered me a job to play outside his restaurant, which was great, but never contacted me. No email, no phone call, no 'Sorry, I changed my mind.' This is typical in Vancouver. Lots of people talk big, make offers, ask me to play their party, ask for guitar lessons, but never follow through. I handed out hundreds of business cards. Made absolutely zero income from them.
