http://bit.ly/1N0HXjcWith Pearl Izumi's E:Motion line of running shoes, smooth has always been the name of the game. Since we first got our feet in the original EM Road N1 we were in love with the super fast transition through the gait cycle and how, rather than relying on material cushion, these shoes let the mechanics of the body in conjunction with their Dynamic Offset handle things.
Now in version 2 of the EM Trail N1, not a whole lot has changed - and that's a good thing. There has been a bump in the durability of the outsole rubber, going from a blown rubber to a carbon rubber compound - and the midsole material has an even smoother transition before. Of particular note is the amount of suppleness of the upper in the EM Trail N1 v2 relative to version 1. In this iteration the upper mesh is much softer and moves very well with the foot while still remaining tough enough for the trails you want to run.
Which shoes from the EMotion line have you tried? Tell us in the comment section below!
