Director: Joe Guerilla From Joe Guerilla: Isodynamics has been turning to the dark side lately, and their latest song "The Ears" is no exception. This is a new track from the Madison based Hip-Hop duo, and just like the other material I've heard off their forthcoming album "Being and Knowing", this song touches on some pretty heavy subjects, (suicide and domestic violence). Conjuring frightening imagery from the perspective of a child caught in the chaotic midst of a dysfunctional (and terrifying) home life, "The Ears" is a sophisticated four minutes of skilled lyricism and melody that truly showcases Isodynamics unique sound. For me the hook was particularly memorable: Ears can hear through walls and see through doors/ I heard every word she said and even more/ Out of sight doesn't mean I can't see you/ Your screams are see-through, to see it there's no need to.... Cathartic and catchy. But somehow they turn it into a very enjoyable song as only Iso can, and at their recent performance at The Annex the energy they put out was infectious.
