Pentagon on LOCKDOWN over shooting at facility’s transit center
The Pentagon building has gone into lockdown, over reports of several people shot and injured, including a police officer, at its transit center. The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) has asked the public to avoid the area.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un gave a speech in Pyongyang on Thursday, praising soldiers and army medics after ‘beating’ the country’s Covid-19 pandemic. The speech, broadcast on North Korean state television, was met with tears and emotional displays from the assembled soldiers.
Thousands of medics from the Korean People’s Army, who had been dispatched to the ‘emergency anti-epidemic front,’ were discharged after Kim declared ‘victory’ over Covid-19. State media reported that Kim thanked those who had ‘displayed the indefatigable spirit and the invincible combat strength of our army.’

The first new part for the repair of the Crimea Bridge has been sent to Krasnodarsky Region, according to Deputy Prime Minister for Construction Marat Khusnullin. On November 3, the Federal Road Agency announced that preparations were underway for the assembly of new spans for the bridge following an attack.

The European Space Agency launched the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer Mission from its Spaceport in French Guiana.
